I really don't forsee this game coming any time soon. I was even watching G4TV last night and they were crossing their fingers to even get the game in 2011.

I would rather they beta test the hell out of it, add a ton of content, and release it in 2012 than release it in 2011 and it be full of bugs. SWG got lame really fast and I don't want them to repeat those mistakes; I am hoping this will be the next EQ or WoW.

It's got definite potential, my biggest concern is a repeat of APB.

That being, it takes so long to come out that it can't possibly live up to the fan driven hype. People loose interest, and it flops inside of 6 months. I wish them all the best, as this product will, without a doubt, be something that greatly tests the Bioware/EA relationship.

Some of my guildies are in beta but they haven't a clue either. I wish i was in beta

right there with you, the announcement of Dark Millennium online killed all interest i had in this.

It will be out in 2011. This is the only game i'm really looking forward to besides GTA5

killer year for bioware in 2011, early in the year we get dragon age 2, mid year this game, then end the year with mass effect 3. lol. nice.

A year ago Electronic Arts announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic--BioWare's massively multiplayer online role-playing game take on the esteemed film series--would arrive during the spring 2011 window. However, according to one report, the publisher was a bit ambitious with that date.


The force of delay is strong with The Old Republic, it seems.

Game business site MCV is reporting that sources within BioWare have informed it that the long-awaited PC MMORPG will arrive at an undisclosed date in September. As of press time EA had not responded to GameSpot's request for comment or clarification on the purported delay

from what I've been hearing, this kinda is kotor 3.
the game descriptions, and preliminary reports are leading me to expect an experience similar to guildwars.
