The book is really that long huh? Amazing how a book about a killer clown can be that long and fleshed out.

King wanted to write a book about all his favorite monsters, the mummy etc. so he created the story around that kind of. Then Nightmare on ELM street was such a gigantic hit he added some of that into the book later on. plus, he was super coked out.
