I haven't heard of many top Cammy players. Cammy hasn't been getting a lot of attention compared to other SFIV characters. The only high level cammy player I've been watching is Allen, here are some of his matches (many more of them in "related vids"):

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/ZcuIhOpGE6Q&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/ZcuIhOpGE6Q&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

This one is funny because the player Allen played against Dc'ed from pure ownage:

Here's a compendium of Cammy strategies and videos (the video sticky thread is at the top):

videos range from top players to average players.

That's all I really know about Cammy, sorry.

That's actually the only videos that I know of and have tailored my playstyle somewhat to that. any other players besides him?

None that are noticeable high level tourney players that I know of. If there were, the posters on SRK would mention them.

GG MooMoo, congrats on your Chun icon/titles :)

I dont know what was wrong with me today, i kept getting dp moves when I wanted to do qcf :banghead:duh

And my whiffed attempt at Ultra which ended up being an EX Cannon spike went right into your ultra, I had to laugh at that one. :lol

I hate the dumb shortcuts in this game. fd + fd = dp :monkey4

Haha. Thanks. Chun-Li's hard trials were insane (not that I can compare to other characters since I havent attempted anyone else, but still).

You did fine, especially since you got more wins than me overall. I need to start learning how to dash and ex attack/cancel. It would probably up my game.

And I also really need to start using qcf/dragon punch characters regularly again. I seem to be really slow at those moves now (especially with my lame attempt at trying to use C. Viper lol)

I put a decent amount of time into finishing Cammy's trials up, and Im stuck on Kens Hard #4 and am a bit discouraged and unmotivated to go through that all over again for an icon and title...lol.

But yeah, the attack-cancels and focus attacks do well to mix up your opponent. Im still learning to use them efficiently too.

Ive tried to use viper a few times and i get smashed :lol. I really want to learn her but i already have enough on my plate the the moment with cammy, ken and ryu.

I even have a tough time using Sagat believe it or not. Im so not used to his lack of speed and more laid back style of play. Im used to being more aggressive with my characters.

Use his tiger knee to cover ground. It has armour breaking and you can move in on your opponet quick(if block it will leave you open though) just mix up the kick you use.

matrix, i see a lot of sagats using a high kick to anti-air when you try to jump in....

for example, tiger shot , opponent jumps in, high kick and he gets hit.

is that just a simple standing HK and does it work on every character or only certain ones. I couldnt pull it off for the life of me, I usually end up trading hits with the person, but ive noticed that if done properly you can keep someone outside with ease and punish them with tigershots.

Thanks for the tip on the TK, makes sense.

Sagats standing hk is perhaps his best anti-air and it hits everyone. Sagats great in the facts that he can zone with anyone(tigers shots are the fastest projectile in the game) hes got a high and low tiger shot and he can beat people down when in close. His tiger knee super into his ultra is a huge damage move and usually means round/game over when its done right. Sagat also has great low pokes make sure to use them when in close or to keep people from dashing in(lk or mk).

Any Dan users here.
I'm learning him atm but gets my ass handed to me most of the time online.
His punches are pretty slow compared to the better shotos and his combos and damage sucks.

I love him tho cos I like to play KOF with Ryo and Robert. LOL

I cant wait for my Hori Real arcade pro 3 to arrive so i can execute moves quicker.

Would this game be fun for someone who never plays fighting games or are the controls pretty hard to grasp and time consuming to learn?

The controls are very basic, as they're just evolved SFII controls. You can pick it up and learn pretty quickly, but if you want to get REALLY good, you're going to have to put in a lot of hours to practice, as SF competition is pretty fierce (especially if you're going to play online).

I agree... It's also important to know when to take a break... you play for too many hours at a single stretch and you start losing games and your bp drops :banghead:banghead
