That's cool, but I would like to see some herbivores too. Those seem a little more varied than herbivores.

Just read in PT McVey is doing a Spino sculpt for the line ! :D

....and the next issue of PT will have an interview with sculptors of Dinosauria. ;)

McVey told me this wasn't going to be officially announced until 2010, and I was pretty much sworn to silence... so if someone wants to dedicate a new thread to it, it won't be me. :angelsmil

Sorry Dan...lol

I don't see the problem though..someone told Mike at PT it was ok to publish I guess...I've had the new issue for a month now, but I just sat down and read the article .

I'm pretty psyched about the news ! Not sure it needs it's own thread though..nothing really official yet, no teasers or anything either. By that little bit in PT, I'm not sure it's even scheduled after the Deino vs Para...just that it is coming.

We can speculate still..I did some re-checking and he has some really amazing work. Couldn't find a Spino ..and I looked..heh heh

I would almost bet he comes on a water base though..or water is a part of the base. ;)

Yeah, his work is excellent. I was speaking with him about getting some kits for the store. I'm hoping we get some official pictures of it soon. :)

The Styracosaurus maquette is now shipping! If you ordered yours through Dan's Dinosaurs, feel free to shoot me a PM if you'd like confirmation. Can't wait to finally see him in person! Hope my shelves will hold up, though. :lol

Yup. Though my shoddy shelves certainly squander any dream of owning that 5' Foulkes Apatosaurus.

Maybe Malcolm's Supersaurus, if he gets it done, would work ?

If not, do what I've done...get 2x4 and plywood and build your own super-sturdy shelving.. :D

If looks are a problem you can spray paint them walnut or flat black and they look fine.

I should get you to make me a shelf, seein' as how we're practically neighbors. I am very anxious to see Malcom's finished sauropods, though. Been holding out for 'em.

I'm no carpenter despite my family name's origin..lol but I can do some simple things. A saw and a drill will make you a shelf in an hour or so depending on the size and complexity. Making them look nice though...that's art. ;)

Yeah, I also want to see Malcom's Super finished..but he's having a hard time right job-wise. I did order a Tylo from him just today and finished paying shipping on my other pieces so I should get a nice saurian surprise before Christmas..lol

Speaking of which, I just received my Hatchling Brachio ornament..better than I expected really.. :D I'm going start sculpting a base for him in a minute.

I hope it is... ;D

Should be great to shed some light on a afew questions as well...depending on what they can talk about that is... heh

Been hearing word in about some of the creative team's contributions. Sounds to be shaping up as an outstanding and illuminating read.

On another note, I'm hoping for a SS mosasaur, preferably a species of large Tylosaurus. Given that the SS theme for Dinosauria is "survival of the fittest" I have all manner of delightfully gruesome possibilities swirling about my head. :D
