sweet pea is most visually striking yet. too bad it also has the worst likeness of the three. the real actress is a girl, but this piece makes it look like she's someone's mom. her face just looks too old, everything else is perfect.

I have Sucker Punch statues ordered through them and they offer a very good discount for them. Not only that, Edward Couturier is part of the Customer Service Team and he is extremely professional and responds to all my questions quickly.

They are great statues, but those are also shots of the prototypes. I would love to see how the actual in-hand consumer pieces turn out before I put down that kind of money. Even SideShow, which is the best in the business, along with Weta, has fallen short on their prototype promises. I also am aware of Gentle Giant's history and lack of success when it comes to producing product that closely resembles its prototype counterparts.

Sorry for being a broken record, but I don't want people to get too excited. Yes, I know I am the original poster of this thread and I absolutely find these pieces stunning. I just will hold off more excitement until we get true confirmation that the statues will look as good as advertised. Unfortunately, we won't find that out until they are released.

You definitely bring up a good point, Eli26. The ones that I am interested in getting are Baby Doll and Sweet Pea. The dilemma is that more and more places are pre-sold out of Baby Doll already. I saw on Gentle Giant's website that Baby Doll is a conditional pre-order. Has anyone here had a conditional pre-order before and had success in getting that item?
