The have always gotten them in the past. And this isn't for the specific show called "Toy Fair" these are (and have always been) designed as a universal exclusive for all toy fairs(or conventions). It's not for just one event but for 5-10 conventions hot toys does each year.

Hahahaha......in DC Comics' upcoming blockbuster, Suicide Squad, the new portrayal of the infamous Joker has captured many fans attention since the character's first reveal! The movie-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on Jared Leto’s image as The Joker in his Arkham Asylum outfit in the movie. It features a newly sculpted head sculpt, special paint applications to capture The Joker's unique appearance, finely tailored straitjacket with weathering effects, and a specially designed backdrop of the Arkham Asylum.

The sculpt is really good but I've got no interest in the Leto version of the character whatsoever. He just looks odd. He almost looks a bit like a crazy pretty boy version of The Joker and also has the lame tattoos that are so on the nose and silly. Also I think it's pretty telling that we're going to get a bunch of Joker figures if they're making one as an exclusive already.

Wow what an amazing headsculpt. First one released for the film and lacks but I really want it. I cannot wait for the standard version to come out! I may be placing an order and I normally don't get any of the toy fair exclusives.

i bloody love it to be honest – sadly though, if it's a toy fair exclusive, i'll never own it. However it does give me great confidence in the future SS Joker figures... Let's face it, Hot Toys do know how to do a great Joker figure (if only they'd do Caeser Romero too)!

I may get this one, I'm on the fence because we all know a lot more Joker figures will come. If he had the purple long coat he wears to swap out with the straight jacket I would go for it.

I was thinking the same thing. Are they really gonna make that a separate version? Jacket a cane?

It will still be widely available so the "exclusive" tag is not real a big deal. This isn't like the Shanghai store figures. Sideshow has gotten them all in the past.

Sculpt looks really good. No interest in this look of the figure and really no interest in ordering any Leto Joker until I see him on screen.

Wow holy crap! The sculpt looks fantastic! Its a shame some here are down on this, but look past the concept and at least give credit where credit is due. There's no need to squint or look at it from certain angles to see who it is. Amazing amazing sculpt, hands down. Whoever sculpted this should be damned proud.
