On the side note of whether the paint would be damaged if you boiled it, I would say the possibilities lead toward Yes. You have the right idea of simply heating it up with a blow dryer, the paint will be sealed and painted with acrylics so it will have some give but not enough to boil. Each head should be handled with extreme care once painted .

Just a quick update: I'm revamping her eyes, trying to catch that elusive look..... ears are lowered and smaller, modified her cheek bones and hollows.

As soon as I can get her eyes looking right I'll post more photos. Getting close!

Sorry for the delay in updating..... as so often happens stuff piled up all at once.... especially a big emergency rubber duck job for a big hotel/casino! I'm hoping I can wrangle a suite and $50.00 in chips out of the deal.

To mole or not to mole?

Summer has an unfortunate mole on her left eyebrow. Many photos have this Photoshopped out. I'm putting it in.

Photos tonight. Just fixing the shape of her skull.

I think she's looking very nice!

I'm pretty satisfied with her now. I hope she looks good to all of you! Note the mole.... sorry about the spike through her head!


I need to do a touch of cleanup still, and after I harden her I'll finish the back of her skull. I left it rough right now so I don't screw up the front while working on it.

but does summer have an actual mole? it looks more like a blemish type mole. like too much skin pigment if that makes any sense. probably look better painted on for those who want it. just my opinion.

If you look closely (and trust me I have been looking VERY closely ) it is a raised mole.

I included it for accuracy's sake, but I'm not married to it. Any thoughts from others? Easy enough to take it off.

Excellent work, Chris! You've done a damn fine job on Summer! I just finished crossposting the new pics on the other forums...I think she'll look spectacular after cleanup and the back of her skull is finished.

As for the mole, I could probably do without a raised one. I think it'd look fine painted, but I'll ask the other boards for their opinion. I felt like it was staring at me for most of Season 1

Actually, I had noticed it was absent in the v1 sculpt, but didn't mind
