I think that's rather unfair. The girl had sex and recorded it for her own later consumption, presumably never intending for it to be released publicly. She's not a '****' for doing that.

Yeah, pretty lame that guys in dark rooms are hunting down illegally downloaded photographs of women to use against them.

I disregard any of the stuff that was released there, and am not interested in finding out anything about them. It's a ****ing disgrace that private information was stolen that way, and it's no one's business except the people those pics/videos were made and intended for. It's really lame if that stuff affects anyone's perceptions of the people involved IMO.

I don't know. On one hand I agree that its no one's business but hers and the guy that stole the pics definitely deserves to be prosecuted. (Personally I have a theory that this guy was an NSA employee and has already been put on trial privately.)

On the other hand, I don't get why we are so afraid of the term "victim blaming". There is a huge difference between blaming the victim over the criminal and calling the victim dumb for not taking basic steps to protect themselves. Afterall, if a person left a huge amount of cash on the passenger seat of a car with the windows open and came back to find that cash gone, would we not consider that person somewhat at fault?

Well in today's world where our privacy is not as ironclad as it used to be, especially when it comes to celebrities; a certain measure of tact should be expected of them for their own sake. The basic common sense that goes into preventing your stuff from being stolen should also be applied to what you record yourself doing. Like it or not, we are all judged based on the perceptions everyone has of us. And if you would prefer that people not judge you based on intimate details about your sex life (that are naturally going to stick out in people's minds), use that common sense to make sure that stuff stays private. Even after months and best efforts of the hellfire wrath of Jennifer Lawrence's expensive lawyers doesn't stop dozens of results for her pics coming up with a simple google search. Once its out there your privacy is violated forever. Don't take those pictures on a device which automatically uploads them.

**** who knows (though from what ive heard from a person that has worked on the set of Glee, everyone there constantly goes at it like rabbits with one day to live. rules had to be passed prohibiting it during certain hours because filming was being held up), careless yes.

Maybe...

However, I don't know if you've seen those pictures, I have, and these are no selfies or whatever, those were professionally taken by a third party, which, I think, already removes a lot of privacy. I think J Law was a victim, indeed, but here, I already have much less respect, stolen or not, for a girl who does that.

But, let's forget that point. **** or helpless victim, she's a bad choice for Kara.

Btw, the more I think about it, and the more I think Cain will be daddy Denvers, and not CK unfortunately...:(

What? They actually had to initiate a "stop ****ing for five minutes so we can shoot a scene" rule on the set? :google :lol

As for Benoist, I agree with haters. Too plain, no charisma, bad choice, and her fappening pics definitely categorize her in the **** and nothing else category for me... bad, bad choice...

That's just ****ing stupid, even if she was a crazed nympho who has a thing for voyeurism I couldn't care less, everybody has the right to use their fun parts however they please.

Also, I've seen the pics, they just have a ****** black and white filter, they're not "professional" at all :lol

She's a good choice for Kara physically speaking, she's not naturally blond that's the only con, she's certainly better than 90% of the propositions I've seen here.

I think people should be counting their blessings that they chose a talented white actress with sort of blond hair. They could have easily cast Margaret Cho for diversity or whatever.

You're right, I don't care wether she's a nympho or not. The only thing I'm sure is that as all these other actresses, yes, she's incredibly credulous or stupid to trust the cloud as a safe storing are. Once bitten twice shy I suppose.

As for being the right choice physically speaking, I'd say she's as right a choice as Gal Gadot is for WW. Supergirl is usually depicted as pretty, not plain. But who knows, maybe her acting skills will make me forget her being unattractive... Who knows?

Indeed, the worst thing we have here is an alpha African-american Jimmy Olsen :lol

Pretty much, being famous they have to be extra careful with that kind of stuff.

Unattractive? :rotfl

The official pic of her in the suit makes her look plain jane. But if you google her, she is beautiful and now I remember her in Homeland :)

Haha yea man, its pretty bad. The person I met used to be a photographer on the set, but quit because she was disgusted by all the rampant sex and heavy drug use of the cast.

Drugs...why always drugs, something that could (and did) kill one of them. Is sex not good enough on its own? I'd damn well settle for it.

But that somehow gives random people the right to see those pictures and comment about them? If I left my door to my house unlocked, and someone comes in and steals my computer with sensitive company information, does that give my competitors the right to see this information, because I didn't take precautions locking my door?

In my opinion, there's a pretty clear right and wrong here. The photos or videos were meant for private consumption, and that's where it belongs. Same with the Sony e-mails. I've got no right to it, and so I'm not going to actively seek it out, and to the extent possible, I'm not going to allow what was taken to color my views.

Absolutely. Any one of us can "easily" commit any number of crimes, including any number of crimes that would make national news if we were so inclined. But easiness of immoral behavior does not give anyone the right to perform it, nor does it give anyone else the right to exploit those who are the recipients of such behavior.

I myself am on a somewhat medium sized horse. I've seen the pics in question, but because I wasn't supposed to see the pics, I don't feel free to judge the women concerned, least of all to say nasty things about them.

I hear you. I haven't look at any of the pictures/videos but I sure as heck have reaped the benefits of other wrongdoings so to speak, whether they be bootlegged computer games that someone else cracked or what have you. But going that extra mile and judging or publicly chastising those who's privacy/material/etc was violated? Well, that's something I certainly don't aspire to do.

Well just to be clear I wasn't suggesting that you and Kara were being hypocritical - I realise it may have read that way by mentioning the 'horse' - usually used in the context of ''Get off your high horse! You're no better'' - in fact I think you're both absolutely right.

I'm still confused about the whole "****" label.

So... This girl has sex and privately photographs it. That makes her a ****. That's bad.

But... Supergirl looks and dresses like a major ****. This girl doesn't resemble Supergirl. That's also bad.

So she can't act like a **** (which, remember, is simply photographing/engaging in a private sex act), but needs to look like a ****. This seems like a lose-lose situation for her.
