Superman vs Hulk

I always thought Superman and the Hulk were fictional characters with dozens and dozens of writers creating their fictional stories.

Oh I am biased as are most of the posters. I love Hulk. However my point is made.

Every Superman fan here has been using the Marvel Vs DC fight where Hulk was not the strongest of his personalities. Prof. Hulk is under way to much control.

And the Superman vs Hulk comic in which I stated

"I have seen a lot of people posting this comic to show that superman would win. If I remember Hulk gets the best of Superman and Superman tells Hulk he got him by surprise. But now he was ready. So he used all of his might to just be an unmovable object and let the hulk pound away. Then it talks about how the hulk won't quit and he just keeps getting geometrically stonger with each blow. And then one of the panels says that the outcome of the strange duel is in Doubt"

Sure I am biased but I also pointed out the facts. Can't help that the facts side with my bias.

Oh and the Hulk vs Batman thing. Really is anyone out there going to say that is not one of the dumber things ever put in comics. Batman is great and All. I love him. Perhaps he could figure out a way to stop hulk. But a kick to the stomach??? That was just lazy by the writters.

And reading you posts Alex Logan you seem just as a biased as me. I just have more fun with it

What point? I stil don't see one. I'm not biased in any way. I love both characters, but unlike you (and many other posters here) I look at the stories of both characters and form a logical conclusion.

I'm also willing to bet that you haven't read a great deal of Superman stories. It's funny how I can write a page to support my conclusion, but not onw person can even come close on the other side of the argument.

Superman has more powers, he is stronger, he can fly, he is super fast like you wouldn't even noticed that he was there, that's how fast. He can melt things with his eyes. His only weakness is kryptonite, which is very unlikely for Hulk to get his hands on. Hulk is a big angry creature, strong, yes, but not as strong as Superman. Hulks power will eventually go away within hours.. Oh, and can Hulk fly and bring together a whole continent collapsing? Who are you guys kidding, lol..? I love both characters, but it's so obvious who would win.

40 yr old man here that reads Hulk comics. And is old enough to know that if you are going back and forth about who beats who in the comic world you better know how to have some fun with it. My God. I mean what was your reason for that comment??

You said you bet I don't read Superman. I said you were right, I have not read a ton of Superman. Some but not a lot. But I did read the two Hulk/Superman confrontations. The classic Fight said that the outcome was in doubt becasue hulk kept getting stronger. Did you ever read it? What do you want from me? The Comic that many Superman fans have put on here as the poster child of why Superman would win says basically that the outcome may be looking bad for Superman. I made my point. you choose to ignore it. Again what do you want from me. I admitted my bias. At least I am truthful. But I also backed up why I feel that It is not a forgone conclusion that Superman would win.


However the rest of my statement (hulk can do anything supes can do if he gets angry) was just a joke. Thought that was apparent.

And yes, I don't read Superman because of the Crazy stuff they have him do. No need for heros if you have Superman. Kind of boring IMO. I was just making a point and having fun with this argument.

Very true and the real outcome does depend on who's writing the story, but a few people only choose to see one side of the debate, which is an epic fail.

Seriously, Hulk can't shoot laser out of his eyes.............
Yes he has increasing strength when he gets angrier and angrier
BUT he cant survive in space. That was proven in the 2003 Hulk movie where he started to freeze up and lost cautiousness after grabbing on to the F 22 Raptor fight jet into space.
Thus all Superman needs to do is throw him into..........yes..........Space.

And just to borrow a punch line from Aliens II, though it has nothing to do with this topic, haha, "In Space, no one can hear you scream" And to Mr Jaws, I'm not into serious argument. Just light hearted talk too. No prob.

Superman can easily match the strength/toughness of hulk, is more agile, can shoot lasers from his eyes, can fly, and can think clearly & intelligently instead of a raging lunatic, and doesnt need to become angry to gain his power.

Why is there even a discussion? a more appropriate comparison would be superman vs thor. Although Hulk is very popular figure, he's just cannon fodder compared to those two in term of actual power.

I agree with many points alot of you have made, but one thought came to mind. Batman vs. Superman.

If we were talking about that, many would leave Supermans side and Jump to Batmans for ridiculous reasons. The same theory about Superman being able to fly, shoot lasers from his eyes, and move faster than a speeding bullet applies here, but many ignore it because Batman has a Kryptonite ring that he nearly broke his hand with and....he's Batman?

Batman is able to outsmart Superman, yet Bruce Banner is far more intelligent than Bruce Wayne. How is it that a mere man can defeat The Man of Steel, but a Giant, Extremely Powerful SUPERHERO cannot??? Especially the Worldbreaker Hulk from World War Hulk. No one thinks Hulk can Punch him into a steel smear on his fists, or create a cheat/cheap kryptonite tactic like Batman???'

It makes me wonder what Deadpool would do If someone gave him kryptonite.
