I've been swimming in raw ownage and... I love it.

This kind of argument will never end, but it's fun to chip in every now and again.

I always thought that what Marvel did better than anyone else was providing explanations for their superpowers. That bit about "Superman held a black hole in one hand" made me laugh because it was a pure Bill Brasky moment. Rule of thumb should be to make these characters more internally consistent rather than blindingly godlike.
