This is the first time I saw The Big Bang Theory have a prototype on display in the background. Sheldon even had a few lines about it, too.

Maybe Sideshow sought the show's help to advertise?

I wouldn't be surprised. Stuart's comic shop has a lot of SSC pieces, so SSC must be working with the show, right?

The first Season of TBBT the only DC related thing was a Batman Cookie Jar Sheldon got... In season 2 Howard got a few DC Busts for his room and the Ani-Con DC PVC Statues... At the end of Season 2 we finally saw the comic book shop and they had DC 1/4 Wonder Woman statue, Superman flying with Lois Lane Statue & Koto 1/6 PVC Supergirl, statue. The rest were just some action figures... I remember a producer saying they bought most of the prop's (statues) on Ebay...

I don't think SS was involved until the episode were we saw the rival comic book shop (season 7), it was full of Sideshow DC and Star Wars statues...

The weird thing is the guys talk more about Marvel then DC. The writers must be Marvel fans.
