I'd be fine with an R2 without all that stuff, just bundle him with 3PO for $399 for the set - a more palatable price-point.

No offense to anyone who currently does this... but I could never pose my C-3PO with a bank. It really looks cheap and does not compare in quality at all. It looks really bad to me.

The CLOCK R2 units being displayed all look very good so far, at least in photographs. Not to mention they're in scale - if a die-cast version is released out of scale, I wouldn't consider buying it, no matter how low the price went. A sentiment I'm sure is shared by others here by all accounts. I can live with all the small inaccuracies in 3PO, but incorrect scale is a total killer.

LMAO!!! Yeah. I meant 12" life size holo Luke and smaller maybe two inch holo leia. Could be 2 G's though. I'm just hoping he comes with more than 3PO did. Just a few suggestions is all.

Well, I decided to buy this off of Amazon. As I was about to pay the $305 or so he had gone down to...I saw there was an Amazon Warehouse Deal for a used-like new one for $263.54. I figured why not? It arrived today, and let's just say someone accepting returns at Amazon didn't do their job at all. IN the box was a 1997 Hasbro 3PO. Not only that, but the head was completely broken off. Someone did a switcharoo, and apparently got away with it. I called Amazon immediately, and after a few minutes, they told me they would honor the $305 price so I could get a new one.

Nightmare. When I got mine for $245 I was worried that that would be exactly what would happen to me. It wasn't. But I am glad amazon is willing to help you out.

The articulation of this figure is incredible. I think the most amazing thing is how much this bad boy weighs! It really is an incredibly constructed piece. Its as good as a 3po figure could possibly get.

Anyone have any thoughts on getting 3PO to shine a little more...the gold doesn't seem to be as reflctive as it was when I got him last year. I am sure it is mostly fingerprints as I play with this figure way too much.

How about simple pure elbow grease? That means nothing but a lint-free soft cloth, time and effort.
