I've seen some where the teeth look really good though. Still I don't care what the teeth look like on the old ones, let's see some pictures of the new ones. Did the eyes fade out on the old one like they do on the 1:1 bust?

No......I was under the impression that pic is of a new one.

I ordered this statue and it was delivered a couple of weeks ago. I was pretty happy when I put it together but after taking a closer look, these are the faults I found:
The eyes were misaligned, one looked down and one looked straight
The metal jaws were wider than the rest of the face
The entire head appears to be molded/leaning to the left.
The pin that holds the rifle was too long and the rifle did not sit flush against the hand

I notified SS and they took it back and they paid the shipping. They advised the return team would put the statue together and notify me of their findings.
SS advised me that the statue looked good although the eyes were a little off. They also said they were putting the statue back in stock to sell to another customer. They have offered me a full refund or a replacement with a check of the statue before it ships. Don't know if I should take the replacement or save and get a 1:1 statue on preorder but that's another $4500.

those teeth are hideous man. Don't get another. That's not $2k quality there. If you can afford it, get the CC 1:1 Endo or 1:3 Cinemaquette. Both of the ones I listed are more accurate and are nothing but quality.

This from a company who say they don't sell returns to other customers. I contacted their customer service the other day about an obvious return that was sent to me and they flat out denied they don't sell returned items. What a great company, nothing but liars.

This is exactly the reason why i wont rush in and use all my Reward Points for their new Endo 1:2 Scale...if i was to have returned it like you have with yours then i would have automatically lost all my points :( and we're talking over $1200 worth! :horror

Clearly an item to be sent back. Same problems with the HCG one. They didn't fix anything with this one, not even the palm rod. I think this version is a tad more weathered as i can see form the head shot. Overall an item that looks good on display but that is a f@@king understatement for a 2k piece.

$2k for this is a total joke, and they seem to think it is acceptable. IMO, this is due to so many people accepting like items. I've been wanting to buy this, but I can't for the obvious reasons. $2k for a **** sandwich!

It's a shame that this new version didn't incorporate the HCG 1/2 endoskull. When the HCG 1/2 endo came out this head was not in production yet..but now they should have installed this version and be credited with the "claim" that they changed sth from the old one..F@@king SS recasters..

Wow. They actually said they were going to sell a returned product to another customer? Wtf? Since the product is stated as new when you place your order, that type of practice is illegal. F sideshow.

It's obvious that the ground in not holding well with this new 1/2 endo.. Waiting for a decent video review to bite my tonque cause i kept high hopes for this one.

I thought they did, thanks for confirmation.

I still want to see more pics before I pass judgment. The teeth seemed to be pretty terrible on most of the older versions as well.

It looks almost exactly the same, over-bite and all. SS looks a bit more weathered though.

Sorry for the phone pics. Had the HCG for sometime, its one of my favorite pieces. Though the eyes on mine do not fade.? Didn't know they did. I washed the teeth with some water down acrylic and wiped the teeth clean and added some Pledge Future to shine the white up. Made a big difference.

Maybe on the later reissue of the HCG ones, but the original 500 had much better teeth than that one shown and eyes did fade. I have mine packed up or I would give a closeup.
