How much time are you going to spend playing with the CPU and watching the eyes fade?

Suppose it depends on price. I got a great deal.

I'm with you. I have the 1/1 SS endoscull and i've probably messed with the CPU chip 3 times over 5 yrs. Fading eyes is a nice iconic touch. Not a big deal but makes the collector feel a little more comfortable with the money he's spent.

Agreed, but this is SS.."expect" is overrated. Not fading out (if that) is not a big deal for me. Would look good on a video review or once/twice showing it to friends. Others concern me abt this piece. Still waiting for a proper review to pass my.."judgement day".

This is one of those pieces I'll always be interested in, but I'll likely never own. It's expensive enough that I'd probably go all out for the life size instead.

Big price difference, $6.5K+ vs under $2K. I have other life size figures so I decided to go life size, otherwise I would be keeping this guy for sure. I guess it depends on funds and what other scales you have.

...they added some mild weathering and teeth dirt as i can c. Teeth cast is better on the original HCG but color accuracy is better on this. This version also comes with power cord contrary to HCG 2nd batch. No eye fading out (minor importance to me).

The HCG ones had a jack, just did not include the actual adapter for some reason. SS is smart to actually include one with their version, but not a big deal either way.

..same here, i know from a couple of collectors that the 2nd batch of HCG didn't include the power adapter. Good thing that this one has it (due to the size, i'd rather have a cord plugged than batteries over and over).

..it seems that only a fistfull of these got delivered. Site states a new shipping date for the new batch. As with Obi Wan lsf there is not enough in hand footage (photos or videos) but from wht i've seen so far looks a solid decent piece..Overpriced, but that's a default statement these days..Compared to Darth Maul LSF or Ironman Mk7 i would say this justifies more the $.

I haven't even seen 1 in hand of pic of Obi, I wondered what happened with that. With Prime 1 and IA making high quality 1:2 pieces, I don't know why anyone would buy any of the SS versions.
