I haven't even seen 1 in hand of pic of Obi, I wondered what happened with that. With Prime 1 and IA making high quality 1:2 pieces, I don't know why anyone would buy any of the SS versions.

There are a few in other forums. It's a good sculpt. Nice piece overall. The point as a buyer in any scale is to get the desired character/franchise. Prime 1 is in DC mostly and IA in Ironman. Even if in same scale, sometimes the character representation could be decisive in which company to invest.

Well... It's a sad day for my original run, repainted, 1:2 endo.

The LEDs in the eyes went out. I'm suspecting it's actually an issue inside the base. Anyone else had trouble with the electronics? Any advice before I tear into it?

Did they stop working suddenly after being on for extended periods or was it something you noticed after having it boxed up for awhile? When I received mine it was shipped new but the eyes weren't working, it turned out to be some form of condensation between the metal peg that depresses under the bottom of the foot. Something that can apparently happen to the metallic parts in electronics after having been in storage for awhile. Same thing happened with my Han Solo in carbonite pf. In both cases I cleaned both ends of the contact points off with a bit of fine grit sandpaper and it opened the flow to get the lights working properly again. Good luck.

Batteries or AC? I had a AC adapter fail and it made the lights act funny, but worked ok on batteries.

Thanks guys, good input.

It's on a AC adapter and the base LEDS are still functional. I believe this happened after I removed the endo from the base to clean it. There was no "damage" during this process. But, I have a feeling something may have loosened up between the foot and the base. Contacts looks clean, but I'll double check them.

If there is a film build up that's blocking the current you won't actually be able to see it. Make sure too the foot pin is accounted for that depresses under the foot. Mine fell out once into the foot peg hole and I had to remove the underside of the base to get it.

Good tip, I'll double check mine!

I got this a few days ago, I haven't had the chance to set it up yet. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Yeah hopefully everything's good. I'll set it up later tonight. Chrome and weathering look excellent, teeth are the same old story as the HCG ones.

I received mine a couple weeks ago, instantly one of my favorites.

Overall it's an excellent piece. The chrome looks amazing, the base is awesome and the light up features are bad ass. The teeth could be better but I knew what to expect based on the previous ones. I was having some difficulties getting the eyes to light up, so I took everything apart and cleaned the contacts. That still didn't work. Eventually I realized that one of the pins in the bottom of the base would not line up with the foot contact properly. I placed a small piece of black foam underneath the foot to adjust how it sits, and now it works perfectly. I'll upload some pictures here shortly.

What's the deal with the battery pack? I couldn't figure out how to make it work. The spring kept pushing the battery pack to where I couldn't get the cover on it.

Anyone? It's driving me crazy. Idk what the hell I'm doing wrong.
