Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

badass line up Voorhees. :rock
must resist making more of these.......:banghead.
i think maybe at the very least i should make a t1 awnuld.

Thanks bro! :lol It still cracks me up that the only thing on my T2 T-800 that is from Sideshow is the head and boots. :D Oh and the gun of course.

If you're after making a T1 custom you're looking at around $250 but you can make a simple T2 T-800 for around $125. Sideshow figure = $50 used, Saturday Toys biker suit = $50 and HT's true type = $25. Not too bad. I think its looks awesome.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Hey guys in T2 is Ahnuld's undershirt black or grey?

You know today I was wondering the same thing, in the early part of the movie it appears black but as time passes i'd swear its grey  This also reminds me of T1 with Kyle Reese's trench coat or Halloween for that matter, both the trenchcoat (T1) and Myers suit are green but look dark blue in many scenes.

Right now I'm right at about $180 total investment on my T1 figure.

$75 Headsculpt and paint
$35 Saturday Toys Biker set
$30 Hands and body
$35 Boots, pants, guns
$6 sunglasses

:rotfl At least i'm not the only one:horror I watched it like a week ago and like you said, in the begining of the movie the shirt is grey, but when it gets to around the Myles Dyson (i think i spelled his name right) scenes it looks like its black. But i could have been wrong seeing as i watched it a week ago.:D:rolleyes::eek:

I was just picturing ordering the HT's figure from Toys2 for $180 delivered and then the custom lonnie head painted by DA, so around $250. I forgot how you were doing yours, better idea and cheaper in the end.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

everytime you guys say " T1 custom ". I think you mean t-1000. :lol

About the shirt , maybe they wanted you to think he changed the shirt after time goes by in the movie when they explain to dyson whats going on. He did probably get blood all over him after ripping his own arm off. Gives him a good excuse.

Although I was slightly off and had to change my post... its really about $180 in the end. I thought about getting the BD Terminator, but didn't need all the extra gear since I didn't want a T2 version.

And sorry for the confusion Uscmhicks... I promise if I ever refer to the T-1000, I'll always type it that way :lol

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

toys2.net HT t800 $US159.99 + 47.75 shipping to AUS = $US207.74

so that is $AUD 310.89 :(

Yeah believe it or not it would cost me $47 to ship the same item to anywhere outside N.A. Canadapost blows! Toys2 actually makes nothing on his shipping quotes.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Well, here's my Terminator so far... on whats there I still need to weather the outfit, paint the gloves black, mod the assault rifle and get the chain for his boots. Overall I think he's shaping-up nicely.

And recipe so far:
Jacket and shirt- Saturday Toys Biker Set
Pants- Dragon Vietnam Special Forces Fatigues
