Re: NEW HT PREDATOR, 'Dutch' full spec and hi-res pics

Awesome custom Terminator! I'd love to get another Dutch and make one of those myself someday! :D I still really want to make a custom John Matrix from Commando using the HT Dutch head and body.

That T1 custom turned out great!
thank you and all others who appreciated it.
it turned out to look even better after i got original HT T1 and used his leather jacket and boots instead of those that i had before. now he is even closer to a movie, especially because the original jacket doesn't look that giant and fits better.
but the hair is still wrong and glasses of HT T1 are too big for dutch head.
and when i put HT T1 hair on dutch head, hoping to replace them... he turned into adriano chelentano :D

by the way - i have got 3 dutch bodies, one from a complete figure and two bought separately, and every of them has the same problem with right hand - it doesn't hold in the shoulder strong enough to stay there when i put the hand up.

The T2 T-800 with exception of the biker bar encounter was under specific orders not to kill people. I suppose theres an argument to be made that in that initial scene at least he should have been shown killing one or two of the patrons there, they were as threatening as the punks early in T1. However maybe they simply don't feel the need to kill everyone they encounter. Maybe it comes down to choice about what action they take and how forceful they are. Remember he was going to kill the guys who John tells to ''take a hike bozo''. Their attack was no more severe than what he experienced at the biker bar.

However in Terminator 4 all this ''throwing people around'' became inexcusable. They have John Connor, their arch nemesis, at their mercy and they beat him up instead of just killing him outright? Machines quite simply wouldn't do that. Then again they also had his dad, and seemingly knew of his importance, yet didn't kill him either. T4's crimes are far greater than T2s.

The part that most people are missing is that we as humans assume to many things.. I had to watch T1 with a buddy to prove that Arnie maybe didnt kill the punks. For those of you that think the TS 800 wasnt acting like the Terminators from the first movie, watch it again.

Did Arnie kill the punks? I only saw him shove two of the punks and kill the other one.

What about at the end of T1? The Endo back hands Reese. Why didnt he just grab him and put his fist through him?

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

in the 1st version of cameron's scenario he kills first two with a lot of blood, and third panks death isn't shown because of scene fading, but surely is meant.
in the last version of scenario lots of blood are simply deleted, i guess it's due to the rules of TV.

1982:
The three toughs slide off the jungle gym and surround
him, all swagger and malign good humor.
With blinding speed the man backhands the one he addressed
in the throat and the punk drops, gagging on blood.

The leader has his switchblade out in an instant and has
slashed it across the man's throat in the next.
The stranger pauses to glance at the blood streaming down
his chest without apparent concern, then kills the leader
with one punch in the belly. There is a wet sound as he
draws back his fist which glistens with blood to the
elbow. The leader slumps lifeless to the ground.

The third punk is already stripping off his clothes as the
man turns his gaze toward him.

1984:
SECOND PUNK
(bracing)
^^^^ you, ^^^^^^^.

Without warning Terminator hammer-punches him in the temple, flinging him with a CLANG into the jungle gym. He drops to the ground in a still heap.

The leader whips out his SWITCHBLADE and slashes in one motion. Terminator catches the knife-wielder's wrist in an inhuman grip. He punches the leader with piledriver force just below the breastbone.

ANGLE - PAVEMENT, as the knife clatters down. The punk's combat boots are on tiptoe, barely touching the ground.

ANGLE - TWO SHOT, Terminator and the leader close together.
The punk's eyes are wide, his veins distended with an agonizing pressure. Terminator jerks his fist back with a WET SOUND and the other drops OUT OF FRAME.

The last tough is stumbling away, gaping with terror. He backs into a chainlink fence, turns to run along it, finds he is in a corner.

Terminator takes a step toward him, his gaze ominous.

The punk begins shakily stripping off his clothes.
Thunder peals overhead.

What about at the end of T1? The Endo back hands Reese. Why didnt he just grab him and put his fist through him?
it is slow, leg-broken, head-beaten. it does something it can do (and this hit is enough to get the man down, by the way), then slowly goes to finish kyle - it cannot do anything faster.

1982:
They trade powerful blows, steel on steel, until Kyle is
sledgehammered back, landing in a heap yards away.

The cyborg approaches Kyle's broken body.
Sarah falls, gets up, runs on.
Close up: a fuse burning quietly.
Close up: Kyle's bloody face, pressed to the floor as a
metal foot clangs down in front of him.
His eyes snap open.

The Terminator draws back for a death blow.
Kyle rolls with his last strength and raises the pipe bomb
he has been cradling.

1984:
LOW ANGLE PAST REESE, F.G., as the cyborg approaches him.

E.C.U. - A FUSE BURNING.

C.U. - KYLE'S FACE

streaked with blood, pressed to the floor as a metal foot CLANGS DOWN, F.G. His eyes snap open.

Sarah falls, gets up, runs on.
The Terminator draws back for a death blow.
And Kyle rolls with the last of his strength, raising the pipe bomb he has been cradling.

and you compare it - blowed, broken, slow, having vision problems (remember it in gasoline car) - to t-800 in TS, jumping like chimpanzee and giving slight kicks to the main skynet's enemy?
i wouldn't.

scenario-1982

scenario-1984
