Cameron is in his own Avatar world and is too full of himself. Ridley Scott on the other hand would do great.

I am still looking forward to this. The hype is the best part, with new figures etc coming out. The film looks good from the trailer to me. Hate Jai Courtney though.

It's almost like Hollywood executives have no idea what made the original films so memorable and think their audience wants to see low-quality efforts at recreating the ball-numbing, camera-spinning excess of AAA-videogame cutscenes in films instead...

A Ridley Scott Terminator film, there'd be a cool symmetry to that in a way what with Cameron having done an Alien film.

Actually, assuming nothing more from Cameron on the Terminator front, I'd be interested in seeing Nolan do one. Much as I've jumped on the anti-Nolan bandwagon of late because I hate the direction he pushed Man of Steel, I think he could do a decent Terminator.

You know you want The Nolan to make a Terminator film. Think about it, this franchises biggest problem is the stupid excess, the predictability of it all with an endless supply of goodie Terminators taking all the feeling of threat and doom out of the series. I think Nolan could bring all that back. He loves ''grounding'' $**t as Yankees said. Exactly what Terminator needs. At least 'grounding' back to T1 levels.

I can already see Kara and Khev's response to one thing you mentioned in your post there.

As to Hans Zimmer music, Michael Caine and bland designs......not like they've been getting anyone better for the music since Brad Fiedel retired; don't mind Michael Caine, and I don't see why Nolan wouldn't stay true to the original T-800s unlike the crap they're putting in Genesys.

Chronicle collectibles said HT have the 1/6 license tied up. NECA are showing new Arnolds at TF, probably from this. Though I hope it's Total Recall.

Excited to see what NECA has in store. Hopefully not video-game repaints.

As for Hot Toys, doesn't necessarily mean anything that they have the license. They seem to like buying up every license merely to prevent any competition from having a crack at it. But then again this could be a blessing if it means they don't put out a T5 Kyle Reese instead of the one we all want.
