After they put out another trailer they'll need to pay people to watch it.

Just a quick screen cap from that Cracked video... I must say I'm truly shocked by the Endo effects shown in the trailer.

$164 million dollars more in the budget than The Terminator.
$68 million dollars more than Terminator 2.

And this is the best they can do? :slap

Notice there's no blood or really visible damage to Arnold's skin in the new version - just looks like a piece of rubber got peeled away. They really are playing this as safe and toothless as they can to ensure that PG-13 rating, aren't they?

You're right, no damage to any of his skin and no fleshy "remains" on the exposed skull. Just perfect skin around a perfect steel cheek and eye. He's like Kano from the first Mortal Kombat. :lol

you know, even the freaking theme park ride has a better plot than this movie...

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Has it been revealed yet that Matt Smith is playing the real John Connor?

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

After seeing the new Star Wars teaser which really got me hyped up for a movie I was setting expectations low for, it shows how messed up that Genisys trailer really was... That had the opposite affect in that I have no immediate desire to see this movie. Take note producers...

I gave up on this move a while ago. The only way I will pay money to see this film in a theater is if gets great reviews, then maybe I'll go see it out of curiosity. Otherwise, it looks like a rental...at best.

I've not written this off yet..but almost ready to....it's gotta be better than the new trailer..gotta!

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

i think i mentioned it

In the early drafts isn't he the T-5000 that infects Connor? If it's true he's now the real John Connor, good job filmmakers, on not having the guts to commit fully to your ****ty premise without writing in an escape clause that robs the concept of any dramatic resonance.

it's kind of shocking actually cause Legacy effects worked on this movie, so I'm not quite sure what went wrong with some of these scenes when they would normally use practical effects over some of this crap CGI
