Everything wrong with modern Hollywood summed up in one crappy production. They should show this trainwreck at film schools.
You are so right! Does James Cameron support this disaster of a movie?

One film I will not be supporting. [emoji20]

I mean look at the difference. The effects back in the 90s was far more realistic. The new version is so cheap and nasty.

It has a certain TV programme feel about it. [emoji20]

Absolutely. I will be watching this purely to see just how bad it is.

Great Stan Winston photos. :rock

Sounds, looks and feels like a spoof. A self-parody, plain and simple.
I don't know why some folks take it so dramaticly and others so naively serious.

Because it isn't deliberately a spoof. It would not be formally admitted as such by anyone other than maybe Jason Clarke or even Jai Courtney a few years from now.

According to Arnie T4 was crap, but this, this is Terminator back on form!

Are people really surprised that this is PG-13? They announced a long time ago that they were going to erase private parts and all the BD we've seen up to now has been very clean and non-gory. We're lucky it isn't a straight PG.

Because it isn't deliberately a spoof.
Kinda brings it back to my point about "The Truman Show" - original ideas being used to create a bland and forgettable product of its time, which was advertised as "modern classic", "great actor's comeback", etc. People will watch it, they are being manipulated by ads to feel the need to watch it. :lol

Even more than T3 was. This film may indeed make T3 look better. I don't want T3 to look better. It's crap.

This lil' turd blossom will likely make T4:Salvation look like Citizen Kane.

As long as the Humor isn't self deprecating it will no doubt be better than T3. Though unfortunately that's not saying much.

Really? I don't myself, it has none of the charm of the T-800, and none of the menacing simplicity of the (original) T-1000. Just looks like a generic robot to me. All of this stuff looks way to clean and polished. I have lost every single ounce of anticipation for this movie. Although I do of course hope it surprises me, I just wont hold my breath.
I'd say it's anything but generic. The head at last, haven't seen enough of the body to judge.

It has elements of the classic T-800, but with a sleeker, more compact and futuristic design - which is exactly what I think such a high Terminator model should look like. I think it even looks a bit more frightening than the T-800.

Beautiful design IMO.

I think a lot of people don't like the design because the movie is so bad and nonsensical. Crappy movies can have fantastic designs too (AvP:R).
