How did you compare it to T3? Were you like DiFabio in thinking that TG was worse than T3/T4 and even Sarah Connor Chronicles?

We got to see the visions of Reese's "alternate" timeline loop into the actual timeline by how they intersected with his younger self. That part I thought was pretty slick and moments like that are often my favorite parts of time travel stories. Kind of like how the discussion Reese and Sarah have about her polaroid leads to her expression in the Jeep as she thinks back to that conversation and then becomes the very picture she was remembering him telling her about.

I'm picturing Cameron's ride home after learning the odometer reading on his father's Ferrari. a-dev is probably sitting on the edge of a swimming pool somewhere, mouth hanging limply open.

I do prefer T3 over TG, simply because it has more memorable action set pieces.

GGB sure looked nice in TG though.

Idk Khev, I mean, I get what they were trying to accomplish with their complete reboot, they figured they would never beat T1/T2 so why not just start fresh by reversing things and making JC bad and not allowing Sarah and Reese to mate.

But I don't want their future!

Contemporary vehicle action, absolutely. T3 all the way. But I liked the future war and robot vs. robot fighting of TG more.

i was still hoping they'd kill jai reese....at least give us that bit of relief, kyle reese dies. are they expecting us to have 2 kyle's in one timeline....

I was expecting a longer future war battle.

I am a diehard Terminator Fan, endoskeleton fan, and Arnold fan. Those who hated T3, i can understand, but I loved seeing Arnold back in black and thought T3 was not that bad. I only liked the part when Arnold came in Terminator Salvation and then turn into the Endoskeleton, apart from that Salvation was not a terminator good enough movie. I just saw Terminator genisys and it sucked! Big time. I hated it, it's the worst one from all of them. Arnold did not come back in his ionic black leather, endoskeletons are different in design (for the worse) and most of all the story sucked.

Spoiler for those who have not seen it. John Connor was taught all about the fight, future war blah blah. Now he turns bad, what!? What a load of nonsense!
Please tell me i'm not the only one who did not like this movie, who else thought this was a load of crap. Who here on the other had a terminator fan liked it? anyone?

As far as collectables go, I skipped Terminator salvation products and it looks like I'll be skipping this one too! I would have bought the Endos's as I love them, but new design easy pass, I hate them, its not a t-800 to me, but a kids version. I may pick up the Arnold bust based on the first movie, and scrub out the genisys logo. It's a shame as the company making them CHRONICLE aren't bad. So for now as long as SIDESHOW, ENTERBAY, HOT TOYS and whom eve make T1 and T2 stuff will get my money.

kyle reese is a lady tomboy from the future sent to the past to save JC's mom sarah.
so who's ****ing sarah now??
a familiar face, a teenage dyson from the hood who turns out to be shapeshifting skynet.

that's gonna be the future of this franchise.

postponed the **** out of everything again. John Connor was still the savior of the post-1997 Judgment Day because Skynet didn't infect him until after he'd destroyed their power grid. But now John wasn't born in 1985 and Skynet didn't launch the nukes in 1997, 2005 (T3), or 2017. They're in an "uncharted 2017" with the original war erased and the savior of that war (John) infected and killed. So now we're left with just Kyle, Reese, Pops, and an alive but unconnected Skynet (as per the mid-credits scene.) How Skynet launches the nukes and then who it is that ultimately stops it now is anyone's guess.

I don't know how they'll explain it but get the feeling....

Skynet (Matt Smith) in Terminator infiltration form will be sent back to 2017, whether he'll be a T5000 unit again or just your run of the mill T1000. May be he'll attempt to download all of the information that Skynet has in 2029 into the 2017 Skynet?

Personally i'm still waiting for a great John Connor movie....
