While I can't say I'm unhappy about plans for any future films being scrapped (I've rewatched Genisys twice since last commenting in this thread and it's sunk lower in my estimation each time), I'd love to see the current rights holders do something interesting between now and 2019. How about getting some top-notch Japanese and/or European animation houses to make adaptations of the best of the old Dark Horse comics and release them direct to Blu-Ray and VOD, DC Animation-style?

Just make a damn Robocop vs Terminator animated movie voiced by Arnold and Peter Weller. Are we gonna wait until one of them dies?

While they're at it they can continue TSCC in animated format as well. Or a comic. Or another TV show. Or a freaking web-series. Just give me something for ****'s sake.

I'll take an effin' novel if it means properly wrapping up the series. I'm indifferent of Salvation and Genisys being abandoned but the pain of loosing TSCC never really went away.

On a side note, I lent the TSCC blu ray to my friend who's a huge Terminator geek and he called me few days later saying he wants to commit suicide on now knowing that the show was cancelled, and how he never gave it a chance. :lol

I like rewatching it but it's tough toward the end when I know I'm going to be left hanging. I really wish that the story would be continued in some form. Give me some closure, dammit!

And just like that ESB was added to the list of worst movies ever made.

:lol :lol

That's a bit harsh, but Vader looks hilarious with that flimsy helmet shaking like that :lol That's the kind of thing you see happen to someone wearing a cheap plastic Vader helmet :slap Vader's helmet in the film has to be made out of metal...or something similar.

I haven't seen the movie yet so will not be watching this myself, but I'm sure it will be very much worth a watch for those of you who have seen it...

You think it was THAT bad!?!??
I think it lifted everything again a bit after T3 and 4.
Not nearly to the heights of 1 and 2, but better nevertheless.

Yeah, it was that bad. It'd be a mediocre sci-fi actioner if T1 and T2 never even existed. The fact that they're around makes this effort particularly shameful.

:lol Another glowing endorsement.

I saw a copy on DVD at my local grocery store for some stupid high price the other day.

It made me want to pick it up off the shelf, fart on it, & put it back.

Oh well, I'm sure there's now a generation of young fans who believe this is the definitive Terminator.

Not one of their best. Apart from asking how much Cameron was paid to praise the movie.

Whatever it was, it wasn't nearly enough. Cameron's supposedly worth $700 million. Doesn't he already have enough money? Doesn't he have any pride?
