Agreed, why couldn't they reshoot that scene from T1 Admittedly she's part of what makes this watchable for me, she's gorgeous, tiny as hell though

The T-800 smiling gag barely works in the T2 director's cut, I cringe at it being recycled, it's worse now.

I think she may have. There's been an "improvement" since those GOT scenes.

Repetitious gags were a problem in Genisys. The smiling (even T3 didn't do it), ''old, not obsolete'', the referring to everyone by both first and second names.

Well as a fan of Arnie and Sly still making movies and being as entertaining as always for me, I like the old, not obsolete bit, it was a Terminator way of carrying the same message as Rocky 6.

I just never really enjoyed the smile gag back in T2 and it was right to cut that from the movie, so for future movies to use it and repeatedly, just makes it worse.
