As I stated in my earlier post: A SS Thanos comiquette is in the works. I posted a thread in the ask SS section and SS Dusty himself said the comiquette is on the way. He posted the link to the Thanos preview and said a comiquette is being worked on. If you take a close look at the preview Thanos is looking directly at his hand. That is NOT the case with the Dio. In the Dio, he is looking away from the infinity gauntlet. They are different pieces. I will wait for the comiquette. I wanted a 1/5 or 1/4 scale Thanos. I will not settle for anything less!

First of all, Dusty is a chick, and Scott says in the video: "in Comiquette scale", why would they make 2 Comiquette's of the same character? It is very possible that they ended up changing the direction of his head since that was in the early stages. In that sneak, they mentioned Pablo was one of the artists and if you look at the specs of this piece, he helped with this. I think Dusty may have been misinformed, but she is welcome to clarify..................

2 1/2 hours after the NL went up and the Ex isn't sold out. Is that normal or is (1) the price or (2) a Thanos-only CQ in the pipeline or (3) the shape of his left ear lobe or (4) the brand of his underwear slowing down orders on this?

I have no problem with that. To me Bowen's Death still looks good. I already have a Bowen Thanos and Death that I'm very happy with. I don't want or need another 2 statues of the same characters in the same scale. The only thing thing about this Dio that I LOVE is the base. The base is sick. However, I'm not spending almost $400 on just a base. I wanted a 1/5 or 1/4 scale SS Thanos. That is worth the wait for me. Congrats on picking up the piece. It does look good. If i didn't own the Bowen versions, I would have picked the Dio up.

In the end, it's comiquette or bust for me!

Sell Bowen's Mistress Death and use some of the money to buy the dio just to get SS Mistress.

Sorry, didn't know Dusty was a "chick". That doesn't change the fact that she said a Thanos comiquette is still being made. I will take her word over yours until someone from SS says otherwise.

Mistress Death isn't worth all that for me. If I liked the Thanos figure more than the Bowen's then this would be the route I'd take.

PJ's or not the scale can't compete and these pics aren't even the real size the disparity will be even greater.
PF scale is bigger.

I think this is the commi. And I think this is the only one coming out. In the video the guy says it's a commi. Also I agree why would they do the same statue in the same pose in 1/4.

Were all going too see this live at comic con so people can take pictures of it's actual scale.

OK, so I was a bit confused by the preview of the Thanos comiquette. I wasn't sure if it was a preview of a separate comiquette or if the preview was changed to be this dio. So, I put up a thread in the ask SS section. Is the preview a separate comiquette or this Dio?

Dusty stated that the comiquette preview was just that. That means that a true 1/4 or 1/5 scale SS Thanos is still on the way. Every one seems happy this piece is 20" big. I'm sure this includes the base. That means that Thanos is roughly Bowen scale. Not too happy about that. I will be looking forward to the Thanos comiquette with great anticipation.

i've got this great piece on order and if it wasn't for the awesome base the the bonus of the great looking mistress of death that should go along with the AH and Brooks line, i'd propably get the Com in favour of this dio. as it is now though this piece just simply rocks and i'l be keeping it for sure..
