Especially one so iconic as The Green Goblin.

(new GG is worse then any other GG to come before it. Even Snowboard Harry)

So basically, even if Mark Webb does a great job, the 3rd movie will be handed off to another director for the chance to get Iron Man 3'd or Spiderman 3'd? Webb has to make two movies for fox so i don't know if getting excited for the future movies is a good idea at the moment...

I could be wrong but i don't know....
