Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

It was to me... :dunno:clap:rotfl I goes bye bye now because everyone is most and almost nutz here if they think this is going to do or will be better then TDKR... :wave:wave:wave

TDKRs Fight Scenes will still be forgettable like the ones from BB and TDK. The only memorable thing will be the Vehicle chases, just like in BB and TDK. Spiderman doesn't needs car chases to be badass :lol
You're telling me "Mini" Bane vs. Batman can top Spiderman vs. Lizard? Have you lost your mind? :cuckoo::slap

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I don't get the whole "BATMAN VURS DA SPIDERMAN" fanboy flame wars, reminds me of all the ignorant people you see fighting over COD and BF3. Stupid and pointless.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I'm actually very excited about this upcoming movie year in general. I don't think one film has to be better than the other. I'm stoked for TDNR, and The Avengers and Spider-Man equally.

As far as Spidey goes, with the exception of Spider-Man 2, I loathe the Rami versions, so I'm very excited about the possibilities of Mark Webb's version.

We'll see who's lost their mind after July :lol

Not really. Its the same as The New York Giants vs. The New England Patriots. People did the same thing FOREVER before the Superbowl happened. Its just part of the "fun". It gets people talking about things.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I think it's funny how this has to be a pissing contest between TDKR and ASM. I'm looking forward to both personally. One doesn't have to win out over the other for both to be good and enjoyable. Fighting amongst ourselves is moronic and as fans of the genre we should be psyched that they are doing all films and that the quality of film is going up.

Interesting notes on a reviewing,

  • Gwen does seem to know his identity sometime throughout the film.
  • I love that the webshooters illuminate when they are firing.
  • Flash Thompson is the boy thrown against the lockers.
  • I love that Peter solves the equation on the chalkboard showing again his science ability
  • That equation looks to be what solves the "Lizard sequence" especially due to the line of "I created him"
  • When Peter is unmasked, he keeps his head down, breaks the handcuffs, then flips, kicks and moves out of the way. So the cops know Spidey has brown hair but past that they didn't seem to see his face especially given Stacy's comment "38 of New York's finest versus one guy in a unitard?" if he knew it seems that he'd say it
  • The arrest warrant is for Spider-Man, not Parker, if they knew they'd issue it for him.
  • Gwen's "I'm in trouble" seems to come from her having a relationship with Pete and finding out he is Spidey, her father hates Spidey so there comes the relationship drama

I'm going to say it, this trailer has me more psyched about this film that The Avengers so far. Now we haven't seen a full Avengers trailer yet but so far this one has me sold.

Yeah, but your never going to convince the other party to change their opinion. That's like jocks comparing pene size.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I watched the trailer and thought it looked decent but I didn't find myself getting super excited about it. I don't know if they didn't give it enough time for people to forget about the last movie or what it is. Right now for me its Avengers>TDKR>Spider-Man.

I know, and its not meant to be taken personal or anything :lol. Its just fun to see which films people are looking forward to more. Spiderman and Batman are still my favorite 2 Superheroes :).

For me its

Avengers > AMZ Spiderman > TDKR

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Like Mike said, we should just be utter excited about what we are getting this year in movies. ASM, TDKR, Avengers. This is the best summer of movies since 2008.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

For me right now it's Amazing Spider-Man = The Avengers > The Dark Knight Rises.

I'm not really sure if I like the way the new Bat film is going in terms of the eight years, etc but I still want to see it. Slightly more excited about this but that could all change once we get a proper Avengers trailer.

I truely am excited for all of this, but certain choices Nolan made for TDKR are...
Still, I BET Superman is gonna shine big-time next year, with the current capabilities special effects can bring. I think alot of people will stop hating him as much. I used to be one of those haters :lol

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I'm a HUGE batman fan, and a pretty gigantic Spidey fan, thought the Raimi movies overall were meh. First one was okay, second one was excellent and the third one was horrible.

But this being the first entry into a new series, and the buildup from the last 4 years for TDKR.

My list goes like this

TDKR>ASM>Avengers.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

:lol

But in all seriousness, I am a big Nolan fan, but the TDKR trailer did not excite me half as much as this.

Regardless of your preference, this is a better trailer.
