I agree with the consensus here about Venom. I'm be 'game' to see him in the third installment (assuming there is one), introducing his host, whether it be Brock or whoever, by movie one or two.

For Venom to work he needs a solid build-up beforehand imo

Man i am seeing way too much of this before the theater.

In all seriousness though, I can appreciate where Nova's coming from. The movie, to me and to those who are hyped, looks great. But I've seen SO many trailers at this point that I'm starting to feel like I've already seen it. Other than trailers that are aired on television, I'll probably stay away from all others from this point out.

I'll watch trailers in the theatre, but i do avoid most like the plague for anything I'm amped up to see.

I don't think they are desperate.

SM3 was a giant ____ sandwhich but before we really knew that we were all foaming at the mouth to go and see it just like the other two that made bank. Yet they still had plenty of clips online like the entire Harry/Spidey fight that they built upto for several years and ruined it. They aren't desperate they are just stupid. At least it's served to get people more use to the suit.

There is another new clip out, Lizard goes to Oscorp while Gwen is there, it's pretty cool but it's hosted by a porn site and I don't know if it's ok to link it.

Anybody else just laugh when the lizard started talking. He sounds like some fat guy. I did not expect him to talk at all like that. Like one or two lines but not full sentences.

I didn't. I thought it would be slightly deeper, but it works for me.
It's interesting to still hear the accent. I guess I overlooked it.

Have nothing against showing too much with this one. Have watched every trailer, TV spot, featurette and srsly ready to judge this film as an artistic picture, forgetting the fact that I am a fan of the characters.
