I'm still trying to figure out when my tickets for the advanced screening are. I thought it would be sometime later this week, but it's starting to look like next Monday. I can't complain though.

Yeah, it would be for the entire film.
The only 3D movie I've seen in recent years was Thor and honestly, it wasn't worth it at all. I didn't like having to wear the glasses (which is a necessary evil of 3D, but you see my point.) The awe of 3D didn't come anywhere near the discomfort/awkwardness of having to wear glasses for 2+ hours. If it involves a post-filming conversion process (or whatever the technical term is,) I'm going to shy away from it. And Spider-Man will be no exception.
Who knows though? You may enjoy it, but those are my two cents. If anything, I would advise seeing it in 2D first, THEN 3D.

Post conversions suck. Unless it's thought of before filming, in which case it can actually be alright. But 90% of the time it's a tact on marketing ploy that looks like ____.
The Avengers looked OK, but wasn't great, and actually made the movie less enjoyable. For me anyway. So 2D forever with that movie.
But Prometheus was pretty cool, Avatar looked amazing, and Transformers 3 was the coolest, easily so far. You just have to do some research.
