Still think his spider-sense should have allowed him to be avoid getting shot.

His Spidey sense seemed to come and go as needed by the storyline :lol

The "New York helping Spider-man" scene should have screamed CHEESE but they pulled it off. It gave me goose bumps and made me smile. The last time I remember a movie doing that was TF2 when Optimus takes on the Decepticons in the forest...and tells them he's about to do so (friggin legendary).

Just got back from seeing it. I have to say I didn't think it was all that great. The Lizard didn't work for me, especially when he spoke. Too much of the humour fell flat and it was missing something that the original Raimi film had. I'd give it a 6.5/10. No where near the quality of the original 2 movies.

Ya it wasn't terrible, but could have done without that giant American flag!, sm3 all over again!:slap

but ya the movie was mostly great!:yess:

If Spidey is able to lift cars his muscle should be very dense and be almost bullet proof, it should just have nicked him and he goes on his merry way. Now if he gets stabbed or shot by a gang of people, he is done.

But in comparison, the Lizard was stronger (more muscle) and armored with scales. Bullets still pierced him easily. At least, the vision is consistent within the scale of this movie.

I thought the movie was ok. I really wanted to like this movie alot. Without getting into to much detail. The story line could have been better. I don't care what people say I still think Sam Raimi did a far better job on first 2 Spiderman movies. I remember hearing from soneone that Sam Raimi didn't have alot of say in the last Spiderman movie he did. Something to do with Sony. Can someone verify if this is true or not.

^ It's true. He was forced to do Venom. Had to re-write the script and fit him in.

Hence why the movie is a pile of ____.

I think the dance scene was done just to spite them. And now I love it. :lol

I thought it was still kind of lame.

I agree. I'll definitely pick it up on Blu when it comes out, but it still wasn't as good as the other movie that came out this summer.

Oh they probably thought it was genius. Just like they thought it was genius to shoe horn Venom into a movie that had nothing to do with him.

I see what you mean. Usually small cuts and bruises are no big deal to Spider-Man but stab wounds and gunshots would hurt Spidey but not stop him. Seriously, a good night sleep usually fixes most injuries for Spidey.
