Master Wayne
Super Freak
I was happy this Spider-Man endured some abuse and showed it.
My biggest gripe with the old trilogy was how indestructible Spidey was. The sequence in SM2 when he sticks his foot out in front of that train as it hammers along at full speed in an attempt to stop it? I still remember cringing at that in the theater eight years ago. Never mind the fact that his leg would be torn from his body or he'd be sucked under the train and killed instantly, but the damn fabric of pajama foot doesn't even tear. Horrible, unbelievable cheese, that dissolved any tension I may have felt over Spider-Man surviving the situation at hand.
I loved seeing this new Spidey bleed and limp and fall down. Even with his powers, he is mortal, and he does have physical limitations. It was dramatic and it was well done.
