Still happy with my 5s, no reason for me to upgrade just yet. And unless Apple goes back to a small form-factor for their phones (or at least, offer an alternative to their main lineup), I'll be keeping my 5s indefinitely.

As will I; I still have the 5 and I'm interested in upgrading, but I prefer the design of the 5 over the 6. May wait until the 7 is announced and see what they do with that.

Hopefully they reduce the width and height of the case, but the screens won't be getting any smaller. You can bet that the phone will probably be thinner, which is something I'm personally not looking for.

There are rumors of iPhone 6-class innards inside an iPhone 5-sized case, so maybe we'll see that next year on the low end to replace the 5S.

My 128 GB 6S is now being "prepared for shipment"!!!

I remember getting the 5S like a day (or two?) ahead of the release date... Hope it's the same case!

An iPhone doesn't lose its value after a year, that's how I pay for new iterations each time. It's just logical.

If you wait until it dies, you are forced to pay entirely out of pocket or let a carrier do you by accepting their "financing" crap that's a ripoff.

Pay in full or nothing.

$700 for a phone is insane to me. I don't care who makes it :lol

You've paid more if you didn't pay in full for your iPhone. The price of iPhones has remained near-constant since it was released, only the on-contract "down-payment" prices have ever changed.

I understand upgrades after a couple of years, but I'll never understand people who line up every single year to shell out another 500 or 600 bucks for a new phone when the one they bought last year works perfectly fine. Apple is a marketing genius to get people to do that. Most of it is people who are so trendy and can't dare to be seen with last year's tech. Deny it if you like, but there are MANY folks out there like that. Gotta keep up with the Jones' and let everyone know about it.
