Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Does anyone care what Mickey has to say? :lol He does one movie that makes him relevant for 15 seconds and he thinks we care. :lol

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

They certainly seem to have a ruthless streak with the way they dealt with Edward Norton.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

If Noan did that though, you'd have every single one of the dozens of Nolancompoops here defending it. :monkey1 :lol

Sadly True.

Not to mention this is a Marvel movie, if history is any indication, that's how it'll go, now matter the studio or the project, if the main actor is there, they pull off the mask every chance they get. RDJ does it, Thor couldn't keep even the helmet on, even Cap whipped it off in his film more times than he should have.

Don't forget the most Infamous... "Venom" a.k.a Eric Foreman for 98% of the time he was supposed to be Venom.

Spidey was probably the worst though he sucked at keeping his identity secret...

Norman Osborn
MJ
Doc Ock
Train full of passengers
Harry Osborn
People with camera phones (his aerial fight against New Goblin)
Venom
Sandman?

Hell even Doctor Doom, who had a reason to wear the mask full time came back for the sequel fresh faced again for the actors face-time contract clause :slap

Batman falls into that category too...

Bruce: "Hey, bebeh."

*girl opens legs*

Bruce: "I'm Batman!"

You guys should read Ultimate Spider-Man....I think the people who DIDN'T know his identity was smaller then people who did :lol

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I've said from the beginning, that suit looks great and good to finally see official images instead of sneaky iPhone pics from far away

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I think the new suit looks awesome. He looks really athletic.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Someone posted a close up of the pic we've already seen where he is next to Thor?

We've already established that the biggest problem with the suit is the cowl. Show me a film finished look with the cowl on and then I'll celebrate.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Well I for one hope the Cap keeps the cowl/mask off most of the time int he avengers. The pictures I've seen so far make it look...less than cool. However, the rest of the suit looks awesome IMO.

Now if they change his cowl/mask to look more like it did in TFA, then I'd be fine with a mask-all-the-time look.
