Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

You mean shots like this:

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. You realize that the final sequence of Iron Man 2 was filmed like this:

oscars-iron-man-2-01_park.gif

It could be anything from props still on set from other sequences to Stark using the drone idea and controlling other suits as we've seen in the comics, to simple markers for the CGI team and/or actors to know where Iron Man is to help their performances. Just because there are two helmets doesn't mean they'll be a two-headed Mark.

If they are including a new Mark in all the promotional stuff it's obviously something they are trying to "surprise" us with so I would imagine that any filming with those props would be hidden. Also Iron Man is 80% CGI, anything physically seen on set is probably more red herring than anything else.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I doubt you ever see Stark go backward to an old Mark. He'd just make a new Mark to fit his needs, even with no time to make one. They gots tot sell toys afterall. I bet he starts with the VI, moves to the VII, and proabably onto a VIII before the end. :dunno

Remember we didnt' see the Mark V until just a month or so before Iron Man 2 came out. Hasbro showed it off at Toy Fair before it was offically revealed and nobody knew it it was accurate or not because Hasbro loves making crap up :lol

But I do think they'll have him get his butt kicked. I think he'll try to be the leader at first (ala the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heros cartoon) and eventually realize Cap is the better fit as the leader and pass the torch to him.

Oh, I agree completely.
That's the logical way for the armors to be introduced.
I was even hoping we would get to see a Hulkbuster armor as their way of recruiting Banner onto the team.

I was simply entertaining Nick's idea of why there would be a Mk.VI at the final battle opposed to a Mk.VII.

Is that a good :thud: or a bad :thud:

:lol

I don't know, you could be a girl in love with him :lol

He's a good actor no doubt, he was good as Cap.

But that helmet :slap

Not saying the helmet is his fault.

How did that helmet design make it into production. :slap

Wait, I got one more in me :slap
