Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I know. :lol

But they have to be 100% perfect.

And my geek is gonna flow. It's gonna flow all over the theater. :lol

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I'll see Avengers in 3D. The 3D looked great when I saw the trailer before John Carter in my theater. :yess:

I wish air travel would seize to exist because I can't sit thru a flight without getting sick.

Psss, Jye...it's cease not seize. Unless you're plannning on seizing control of a plane, then in that case...carry on. :wave

:lol :lol :lol

oh, and

:tap :tap :tap

not all post conversions are crap you know

besides, let your geek out and have some fun.

A lot of people don't realize that not ALL native 3D movies are ALL native 3D. There's converted shots in almost all 3D flicks, mixed right in with the natively shot 3D.

IMO most of the hate on post converted 3D comes from the rush job of Clash of the Titans (haven't seen the 3D version myself). It's become a dirty word synonymous with cash grab. But I'll say that I enjoyed the 3D experience of both Cap and Thor (moreso at home for Thor since I pumped up the brightness for the first 1/3) than I did Transformers 3 and Harold and Kumar 3.

Yup, Clash started that, and while maybe accurate for that ____ show, I still judge each movie independently.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Transformers 3 is the greatest 3D movie. Don't care what anyone says. That last hour was far more immersion then Avatar's.

I forgot I was even watching a 3D movie. I was in that ******* movie. So much chaos.

That's what I want when I see a 3D movie. Pretty effects, and great action. Like T2 3D. Or something like that.

:exactly: Agreed. They knocked the last hour out of the park.

Smurfs is the greatest 3D movie. Don't care what anyone says. That last hour was far more immersion then Avatar's.

I forgot I was even watching a 3D movie. I was in that ******* movie. So much little blue men chaos.

That's what I want when I see a 3D movie. Pretty effects, and great action. Like T2 3D. Or something like that.
