Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Banner had already learnt how to control Hulk at the end of his own movie

It was definitely Loki controlling him

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Ouh and:

And I´d definatly not say that Loki was controlling him.
Loki got himself caught, so that all would be argueing for why he got himself into that situation and everybody questioning what is wrong there, because of the tesseract, Fury not telling everything, THAT is the CONTROL you guys are referring to.
He was not directly controlling the Banner.
Remember?!
Norse God of Deceit, Deception and so on?!
He worked everybody and the rage was too much for Banner to contain.

Just my 2 cents...

I disagree. How do you explain Banner subconciously grabbing the sceptre then? That was the giveaway for me

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Why not control Banner indefinitely then? Loki could have avoided that rag dolling he got from the Hulk then :lol That scene was too funny

He no longer had the sceptre. That's what seemed to be controlling the rage of Banner.

Anyway you can pretty much poke holes in any movie, I think there is enough there to just except what happened in those scenes.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Also the Sceptre most likely has the same source power as the The Tesseract, and that was giving out Gamma radiation

Loki didn't have the sceptre when he was captured, yet people think he was manipulating Banner then.

No I think the Sceptre is controlling/heightening Banner's rage, I should not have said Loki in a earlier comment, that was a bit misleading, but Loki knew that was what was going to happen as when he was being lead past Banner, he gave an evil bad guy grin. Loki knew Banner would be working in the vicinity of the sceptre, and that it would make him lose control once the area was attacked.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

I would say probably not next weekend but the following weekend.

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

In regards to Hulk; he 'suits' up quicker than the rest of the team. That scene from him transforming into Hulk in the final battle untill the camera does a 360 shot of the team is amazing!

My favorite scene! Pure epicness! :rock:rock:rock

Re: The Avengers: The Motion Picture Discussion Thread

Got my two tickets for the midnight show in 3D this week. Can't wait!:rock
