Finally saw The Avengers last night. What a blast! I loved every second of this film. Easily my favorite Marvel movie to date. I'm probably gonna go see it again this week.

I was a bit bummed to see Agent Coulson go but the scene at the end of the main credits with Thanos left me with a huge grin on my face.

With you there, transformers has one of my favourite scores but the movie doesn't deserve it. Such a noble sounding theme , especially for Prime.

I know, I love those scores. I did like the Avengers and I think it's a great launching place for the Avengers franchise and I'm super looking forward to the future films especially if they follow through with Thanos.

# 4 and # 5 viewing here I come. :yess:

Wife is actually pushing for her 3rd viewing (my 4th) and a friend wants to see it again in Imax.

Don't have to twist my arm any. :lol

3rd time tonight.

4th time next week at Movie Tavern, which means viewing #1 while completely split-faced drunk. :hi5:

I can't see her in the role. I like her as an actress, but not an action "hero".

I could have said the same thing about ScarJo, the only other action movie I can think of her in was The Island. Compared to a lot of actresses who have done action movies like Underworld, Kill Bill, Blade 3 and Sucker Punch; I think Emily Blunt could have really pulled it off.

Saw this today. Really good movie, but I wouldn't say it's the best comic book movie I've seen. The first IM, BB, and TDK were better comic book movies for me.

spiderman 2 is still my favorite followed by BB and TDK. But The Avengers is like apples to oranges to other films, it's so different it's hard to compare it to anything else.
