No doubt what-so-ever. For me one film left me wanting more theater experiences the other left me going I can wait for blu.

Me too. I saw Avengers and loved it. Then a week later, thought, I need to see that again. And so on. I think I have seen it at least 4-5 times total. I have never wanted a release to Blueray more then Avengers.

TDR I saw at the theater and thought that was good. Haven't thought about it since. TDK I saw a couple of times at the theater because of the performance of Ledger. TDR just didn't have that stand out performance that would pull me back.

That's pretty much me. This will be my third time for the avengers and that's with it coming out in a few weeks. If I didn't enjoy it so much I'd have just waited.

I admit I haven't thought much about tdkr since I saw it. It was good but for me it wasn't anything special.

So happy that I can just love both movies simultaneously, it's nice knowing that I can watch the bluray of both movies back to back.

I walked away from both movies with these emotions forever stuck in my mind:

Avengers: Hulk smashing Loki is the best, most exhilarating Superhero moment i've ever seen!

TDKR: Imax 15/70 presentation is the best, most exhilarating film experience i've ever seen!

I wanted to walk out feeling that way about tdkr but Nolan did not complete the task for me. Good for those that he was able to. :peace

Another scene in Avengers that still gives me goosebumps is the pan around the assembled team with the Avengers main title music, great stuff!

Speaking of music though, TDKR soundtrack overall definately better than Avengers.

He can kiss my arse as far as I'm concerned.

--------

Just got out of seeing this again and it just gets better. This to me is the best super hero ever besides being the best movie for the summer of 2012.

:lol :lol :lol

Man, I really wanted to go see it this weekend. I just don't think I'll get a chance.

Just gonna have to buckle down and wait for the Bluray in a couple weeks.

Really? Wow! I didn't know that! :pfft:

Seriously, it looks like they put lighter makeup on Chris Evans. I was just curious about it.

Haha I was just joking!!!

With regards to the whole Avengers vs Batman argument, I'm just pleased that I don't feel the need to put one over the other, and just enjoy both movies equally for what they are.

It was awesome to see this in the theater one more time. Then watch it again when it lands on blu.

:goodpost:
I loved both, but for totally different reasons. Although fans of Nolan's previous movies may have felt he was overly ambitious or even "jumping the shark" on TDKR, I thought it was great. Off the top of my head, I'd say they were my two favorite mobvies of the year, and lucky me, I'm not so **** that I have to rank one over the other. :lol

I liked both movies, but I liked Avengers better. Doesn't make TDKR a bad movie.

The Hobbit is going to have to really deliver (and I don't have a doubt it will) to knock Avengers off the top of my 2012 list.

Too bad they didn't add the new footage like they were thinking about doing. If they had, I'd have definately gone again and I think a lof of others would as well. That extra few minutes could have given them the extra few million to beat James Cameron. Too bad :(

I cannot see the Hobbit not joining the LotR movies in greatness. 2012 should go down as a year of amazing movies. :clap

I agree.

How is this doing in Japan, any one know?
