Anybody notice how on the 3D lenticular slip, the "metal" parts such as Iron Man's armor and Thor's costume, shine when brought into the light? :panic:

This is literally one of the most fun movies I've seen in many many years. As soon as it's over at home I just want to start the disc over again. I know people freak out anytime a reference to a former classic is made but the combination of chemistry, iconic characters, humor, action and special effects is very close to the original Star Wars.

Avengers is one for the ages.

I couldn't have said it better. I think TA will be this generation's Star Wars! :yess:

Good, now HT can make a figure :yess:

Agreed! That would make the existing line complete. :clap

Who feels that the Marvel One Shot is cheesy and cheapens the Avengers or that it's great because Marvel knows how to relax and not take itself too seriously.

One more thing, the transfer on this bluray is freaking jaw droppingly amazing.

I love the One Shots! My only complaint with Item 47 was no Coulson.:(

Really enjoyed "A man out of time" deleted scene. You get a much better understanding of how Cap feels so out of place, and lost.

Also as most have suspected we get to see the relevance to the waitress in the final act.

I can see why it was cut, it would have killed the pacing on already 2.5 movie.

Hopefully the scene will make it on a Director's cut extended edition.

Was it lenticular, or embossed? The one I got from Target is embossed.

If it was lenticular........I'm gonna :thwak you!

Lenticular...I am sorry, Weenie. If I had known for a second that you would want to have it, I would have shipped it to you overnight.

I simply don't care for them, myself because they throw off the uniform appearance of the blu ray cases on the shelf.

I watched The Avengers again this evening. And I thought of a very, very funny comment to make in this thread about it.

Went through some of the blu ray bonus features. Really loved the Deleted cap sequence. It was only a minute or 2 of scenes but you really felt for his character and how out of place he was. I loved him in the movie but alot of my buds thought he was lacking in screen time and didnt 'do much'. These scenes, even though are not action packed, just make the character more relatable and a bigger part of the story.

Wish there was more bonus materiel!

Should've been kept in is the popular consensus.

Buy the Target exclusive.... For $20, you get all of the movie formats & the 90 minute bonus disc! :rock

Much better than the ~$44 edition we've got here in Canada. And, no bonus disc either!

I could fill up the car, drive all the way down to the States, pick up the Target edition, come back to Canada... And still save money! :slap :lol
