I hope it does. They have all the opportunities to correct the mistakes of the Whedon cut. I have no doubt this isn't going to be the original version Snyder planned. He'll be making some changes based on fan feedback over the years.

I know I'm in the minority but I thought Synder did a sterling job fast-tracking the JL (obviously at the studio's behest) while still turning out a strong film in BvS. Then WB had to *really* screw the pooch by messing with JL.

Yikes. So sad that the people at WB had no faith in there characters they screwed them up so bad. Why the hell would you wait til a marvel crossover to make a Batman and Superman movie?

I don't know what WB properties they have but what is better having a very large universe at your disposal but don't want to use it cause your afraid people won't take it seriously.

What a joke. DC will never catch up to marvel. I could go on and on about how they had a head start in the industry with the burton movies but decided after B and R to say **** it.

Then fans begged for a JL movie a Flash movie a WW movie and a Batman vs superman movie for years but they kept saying it wouldn't make money. Meanwhile marvel is crushing it in the early 2000s with multiple properties.

They finally do a batman and superman film during that time buy don't even connect the two. They seem reactionary but scared at the same time.

They wanted to rush intot he universe instead of digging into there librbay of history. They seem to have a large boner for mark miller batman seeing as they adapted it twice already.

IDk that green lantern movie was them branching out finally but sadly it fell short.

I don't understand what the risk is. Don't make the movies massive budget (like shazam) and you are sweet. Leave the big budget movies for the big guns like WW, Batman, Sups, JL etc.

At this point I feel they should just not worry about shared universes and do one shot movies. That seems to work out best for them - in much the same way their animated movies tend to be great because they just focus on that one story and don't worry about making a universe. If after a while there's a natural story that you can do a crossover with then do it. Not everything has to be a shared universe.

I like this idea and let's face it, they're never going to live up to what Marvel pulled off over 22 movies. Not saying they have to live up to it, but whatever they try from a combined universe perspective WILL be prepared to the Infinity Saga...

Not even Marvel is going to repeat that. It's one and done. All their top-tier characters are spent.
