I could see Feige looking at the Keaton's return and wanting to bring Tobey back as Spidey. It's a fact that they made Civil War specifically because of BVS. I don't know if Tobey as Spidey is as big of a deal as Keaton as Bats, but I trust the MCU not to drop the ball, unlike WB.

Keaton is also building the Sinister Six lol

Yes... :lol

The return of Tobey or the X Men could be a big deal.

It won?t be hard for marvel to take over DC. All they need to do is announce xmen and FF properties and confirm of Tobey is coming back.

Wolverine vs hulk movie alone would destroy DC and any announcement they have.

DC needs to bring in the big guns. They ha e to announce a static shock film, a teen titans film, green lantern or news on flash. If all they have to show is some old *** directors cut of a film that only Snyder fans love and that horrible trench movie then they?ll be out of luck .

Also they have so many amazing diverse characters. Why isn?t there a blue beetle movie? He?s spiderman and iron man rolled into one

Tobey and Keaton are similar. They both were batman first on the big screen. Yes I know about that silly 60s Batman but I?m talking about the real dark Batman we love. Tobey is the first spiderman and let?s be really honest here. He got the superhero train started. Xmen was the first movie in the 00s but Spider-Man got the ball rolling and not since 2002 we haven?t had a summer with no superhero movie. So Tobey coming back would rival Keaton. Especially for my gen who grew up with this Spider-Man .

If course it would be a big deal. I?m not saying it wouldn?t. What I am saying is that I don?t see this ?destroying? DC... they already have had big announcements and have more in store, so they will be just fine.

Some fans have no idea how close WB came to having Keaton return in the CW crossover event thank god he backed out of that nonsense.

Dumb WB lol

What does DC possibly have? The Snyder cut? Boring. Pattinson Batman? Shazam 2? Besides bringing back Keaton for flash I don?t see them announcing any epic winners.

All marvel has to do is announce Xmen properties and they already defeated DC. DC hasn?t built enough trust for people to get super excited for there films yet aside from Batman stuff

Whatever man, I find the entire Marvel vs DC thing silly.
I enjoy Marvel movies, yet new X-Men and Tobey showing up don't get me excited, while the multiverse approach that might happen in the DC movies does sound really interesting to me.
As far as I'm concerned, DCEU fans have had a lot of really exciting news, and MCU fans have a lot of exciting news to look forward to.
I don't get this whole "let's crush the competition" mentality.

I'm a fan of both DC and Marvel. However, for some reason the MCU films don't have much replay value. However, with the exception of BVS and SS, I've watched the the Batman films, MOS, Joker, the X Men films, Raimi Spiderman films and WW many times. I don't know why I find the MCU films disposable. I enjoy them in the theater, but for some reason I rather watch something else when they're on tv. :dunno

IW might be the only one that I've enjoyed multiple times.

I?m not a fan of marve vs DC either buddy. I love both I?m just stating what the fans may want. They are competitive so I?m just telling it like it is . The mcu for a long time was broken to me and I only was interested cause of cap, iron man and the inclusion of spidey and black panther . Everybody else was very boring or watered down like quicksilver and hulk. I feel like DC had a strong start but fell hard

Cause they are basically roller coaster rides. Meant to ride once but once you ride them again it gets tired and boring. And yes infinity war imo is the best avengers movie

I feel like DC is like the WWE where they're constantly calling back their old 80's/90's stars like Stone Cold, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker to help give them a *boost*. :lol

DC is calling Keaton, pulling back Affleck and Cavill, Tom Welling, Dean Cain, Routh, etc. etc. :lol :lol :lol

Is Kilmer and Clooney next?

PS: I say this as a Batman fan who is thrilled that Affleck is back. I do want the DCEU to succeed...it's just a funny parallel I noticed between different media groups.

Wait, you're just talking the Snyder Cut right? Cos much as I wish we could, I don't think we can read anything from that into future plans.

Yeah, and I'm remaining hopeful that the rumors about Affleck returning as Batman for additional HBO Max DC stuff are true. However, you're right, everything is sketchy and uncertain right now. Latest rumors are saying the Batffleck return is not true.

If Snyder cut JL is a huge hit

If WB gives Affleck his directing and writing freedom that he was seeking

If Affleck stays off the blow and booze

If the money is right for Affleck

If Cavill looses the diva attitude

If Ezra stops choking females

If there isn?t a Sadffleck meme part 2

And again if Snyder cut JL is a huge hit...

THEN YES I can totally see Affleck jumping back into the Batman role after the simple JL ADR work that he is required to do is completed.

WB is in a very weird position right now with BOTH Pat Bat and Affleck Bat in the running to be the face of their Batman PLUS Keaton Bat thrown into the mix.

The million dollar question is does WB have what it takes to balance:

Pat Bat
Affleck Bat
Keaton Bat

ALL AT ONCE!

WB = lulz
