Nimrods keep trying to say that I am claiming Bale didn't wear makeup, I NEVER SAID THAT. I fully know and understand that he had raccoon eyes wait for it...WHEN HE WORE THE COWL. There is a big difference between wearing it to make the cowl look right and parading around as Bruce Wayne with your face covered in pale foundation and black eyeliner reminding everyone that you were once a twinkle toes pansy emo on Twilight.

it's very telling that the ONLY thing you can criticize is the eye make up.

out of everything shown, out of the clips shown. his voice, his acting.

you can ONLY trash the eye make up.......
and out of the dozens of movies that Robert Batison has done,
you can only bring up twilight, a movie where his acting wasn't even mad.

that's all you got, and it is very little.

It's not. Like I said I'm only a very casual fan of Batman. It was just an observation that only in the disastrous cesspool that is present day Hollywood would they put the Batman suit on the weanie Twilight guy.

It is interesting that so far in all of the marketing Batman is the mystery in his own trailers he says absolutely nothing while all the dialogue is left for all the others to deliver to inform the plot.

Yeah, the greatest complaints I've EVER heard about Batman casting came as a result of Keaton as Batman. Even the Ledger complaints paled compared to him. Now, Keaton is mostly a favorite. Ledger IS a favorite.

I expect Pattinson will pull it off in acceptable fashion. Whether or not he's your type of Batman is always subjective.

For me, the villains are always more important than Batman anyway.

I see where TFH is coming from. The eye make up is one of those things that doesn’t need explaining. Like can you imagine seeing the bat signal and then cue a “suit up” sequence that involves Bruce putting on his eye make-up.
