Batman should not look like the Michelin Man like Batfleck. Inflated musculature.
I don't know. I know that there are shots where he is defiantly in the suit, and he looks super broad. So, I think it's the way they designed the suit.Yeah but there are a lot of times (especially on wide shots/fight scenes) where the suit appears bulkier too. I wonder if there is some truth about the issues they had with Robert refusing to bulk up for the role.
Keaton did zero fighting in the martial arts sequences.. it was all stunt manIts the suit for sure.
Ya know Michael keaton didn't have those abs either in Batman 89
Ben was fine for the look in BVS because they were going for that Dark Knight Returns older Bats.Batman should not look like the Michelin Man like Batfleck. Inflated musculature.
Check the DC thread. Pics from Jedha and a video are up. EMO PAT SCULPT FTW!I hope they capture that on the upcoming figure then. He looks decisively bulky enough in some scenes to imply that he can beat the crap out of anyone, while at the same time maintaining a light athletic look that implies he is also agile and quick if needed.
That suit had to be hard to move in lolKeaton did zero fighting in the martial arts sequences.. it was all stunt man
I like rain and hope it rained in more moviesThe Reeves Gotham…rains 24/7
It never rained in Keaton’s Gotham..yet the streets and roads were always wetI like rain and hope it rained in more movies
You'll enjoy it. It is a good film just too long.Seeing this tomorrow. Can’t wait!
I’m on the same boat about this UNTIL he spoke, then yeah Colin for sure, it was incredible, if i never knew otherwise, i would had been fooledYou know people are saying they can’t believe that’s Ferrell under the makeup..but when I see the eyes, demeanor and Penguin yelling …I see Colin
The only question I have is, does the mouth open?Good call, but he's in his most "literally me"-est in Lars And The Real Girl.
Well said brother! Well said. LolNow had time to do a snapshot review after my midnight screening earlier today.
Finally. After two and a half years. Feels surreal to have now seen it. What a perfect viewing experience.
The Batman film I’ve been waiting for all my life; Pattinson is perfection; nailing the voice and dynamics of Batman and Bruce Wayne. Zoe Kravitz is astonishing, giving the strong empowered Selina Kyle we deserve whilst also channeling so much warmth and emotion, which in turn leads to spectacular chemistry with Pattinson. Paul Dano is truly terrifying, especially under Matt Reeves’ direction.
The entire cast, (and I do include the also terrifying Batmobile in that), is stellar with no weak link in the chain and, at an impressive 3 hour run time, the film is superbly paced, and flies by in the blink of an eye.
Guided by gorgeous lingering cinematography over a rain soaked claustrophobic Gotham plucked straight from the comics and matched with a perfect score, that simultaneously merges Elfman and BTAS tones, whilst also being something entirely new and fresh.
In summary; a bold, intelligent and uncompromising neo-noir detective driven Batman that will go down in history as a modern classic, reimagining Batman for generations however being more true to source than ever before.
