Yep. It sucks how the IMAX ratios get shafted so hard. We just recently got BvS with the IMAX ratio.

Do we know if this’ll come with the IMAX ratio? I actually never caught this in IMAX, so I guess I wouldn’t know what I was missing. :lol
Yeah jye is right - not filmed in imax so no imax ratios.

Hard to keep track of this stuff. In a quick search, all I find in expanded imax is D+ Marvel movies and some in the Bravia app on certain Sony Bravia tvs. I might be wrong, but it seems like there is nothing on physical media that has expanded ratios.

I have the infamous Transformers 2 Walmart exclusive bluray with Imax ratio.

Plus TDK and TDKR!

I finally watched this yesterday. It was way too long, and probably drawn out a bit more than it needed to be. With that said, I thought it was the best “gritty” Batman live action movie.

Catwoman was so sexy. The scenes where Batman absolutely dominated and manhandled her were hot. I really enjoyed Bruce reading his journal as a narrator. The suit looked great in the movie, probably because it’s so dark, and he’s got this heaviness to him. Suitably intimidating. I love how his mask just soaked up all light making it this pitch black void with his eyes very vibrant. Dude has a great jawline for the mask, the falcon dude is on suicide watch after seeing this, no doubt. The gadgets were great, the wingsuit sequence I enjoyed as well.

Gordon was great, but that was expected. Great actor. Penguin was such a goofy wiseguy caricature but he worked. Falconi was good too, but again, great actor. Riddler was ok I suppose, to be honest I don’t remember much of his actual performance other than he came across too much as someone trying to see sO uNhINgeDDD. The end bit with Joker was lame, dude sounded like a 15 year old kid. Enough with the Joker, and enough with the whole scarred lips routine.

Didn’t notice too much “wokeness” like I’ve seen complaints of. There certainly were some cheesy parts, like the white male privilege line, but doesn’t really bother because at the end of the day the hero, the badass, the archetype is still white mf’n Batman, and the chick who said it fell for him was all over him anyway LOL. Regardless though, keep any of that **** out of superhero flicksdon’t worry, people won’t miss that messaging as it’s in plenty of other places.

Looking forward to watching again and trying to remain strong and not get the Hot Toys to go with all my other movie Batmen.

Everyone seems to really enjoy the use of Nirvana's "Something in the Way" in the movie.

I've always loved the song....I used to listen to the Unplugged version on repeat and cry after my first girlfriend dumped me back in high school.

But does nobody remember the scene in "Jerry Maguire" where the football phenom (Jerry O'Connell) is sitting in his room playing it on an acoustic guitar? It's the first thing I thought of when I saw the first Batman trailer. I laughed.

Damn that’s a great review only part I disagree with is Riddler he served his purpose well.

I can’t wait for the hot toys figures after seeing this. Hope catwoman gets made. Hopefully inart makes one cause Disney will be deep in hot toy’s *** for a while .

Freaking HBOMAX can’t even put the proper Imax ratio of their premier billion dollar Batman movie TDK on their platform. :slap

Meanwhile D+ gives a proper Imax ratio even on their lower end MCU movies lol

Hold on to your TDK 4K discs boys and boys.

TDKR I use as a coaster lol

Speaking of which why is TDKR not on HBO Max?

Came home late last night and watched this again. DAMN Zoe is so frickin' hot. The camera loves every inch of her. She makes me crazy when she's strutting along the catwalk, bouncing up and down all determined. Then I think of Anne Hathaway and I have to laugh. Sometimes Nolan is driven by star-casting more than an actor right for the role. Anyway, everyone seemed perfect in their roles here. I still feel that the end is almost unnecessary -- especially with a film 3 hours long -- and I'm still getting used to Soprano-Penguin, but overall I love so many things in this movie. For some reason, I really focused my attention on Zoe this time around. Going to be a lot of hot little Catwomen around this Halloween.

I still firmly believe skin and bones Hathaway was wearing hip and butt padding, or that’s really good cgi, as Catwoman no way in hell her hips and butt are that curvy and sexy in real life and now the Queen Studios and JND pieces were created on lies lol

Aren't there always though? ;)

I thought she was super hot, but only with the wigs on. Did not like the buzz cut or the sock mask.

But Miller's Year One Catwoman had a buzz cut and she was a hooker. Was Zoe's Catwoman a hooker? I kinda got the feeling she was supposed to be, no?

But that face -- the way the light plays off her cheek bones and that crimson lipstick glistens. HOT!

Personally, I love pixie cuts, so that's just a bonus.
