Nice shot of his Bat-Nips! "To the gar bar, Robin!"

1) What's a gar bar?
2) Are you older than ten? :lol

Before you answer, please note these are from my personal collection and you don't even want to know who worked on them. :D

"Bat-Nips"! Tee-hee!

pjam, what other Batman figures do you have?

I'm not answering until pixel boy apologizes for his misspelled juvenile homophobic remarks about my boys and you shouldn't encourage him! :lol

Hey Pjam do you have a website of your custom work? I am going to assume that the C. Reeve figure in your avater is yours? Very nice. You did him justice.

Yes, it's mine, thanks. I am not a customizer, just a passionate collector, I leave that to my talented friends out there. The Reeve Tribute figure was sculpted and put together by the amazing Les Walker (Masterfigure Les) and was featured in Eternal Collector.com. It is 12.5 " tall and was made from a 1978 Mego body and outfit which makes it pretty cool IMO. I was lucky enough to purchase the one Les made for himself, only the second one he made at the time and he even signed the stand for me #2. It came with a custom box as well, also featured in EC.

here is a link to the EC article Les posted in which he tells his story on its evolution and how he made it.

Les also did an amazing repaint of my Burt Ward head you saw pictured with the Adam West TV Batman (thanks for your gay slam joke pixletwin) it was a generic Asian Robin soft vinyl head and to get it to look ANYTHING like Burt Ward was a spectacular feat, believe me, only a very talented artist could come close.

I am in the middle of having a highly detailed TV accurate 1/6 scale r/c 1966 TV Batmobile made by another amazing talent, Giink, specifically for these Batman TV figs. Don't think there will be anything quite like it anywhere in the world with the figs seated inside.

The Batmobile is 32 inches long, has working electronic function blinkers, headlights, tailights, beacon and will look like this when complete.

Has anyone received a shipping notice from Toy Square on HT Batman Begins?

Yup. Mine should be here tomorrow! :chew

And I didn't even notice Robin was in that pic you posted pjam, on my screen all I could see was batman. (missed that scroll bar at the bottom of my screen.) The Adam West Batman figure is truly amazing and I can't wait to see the pics of your batmobile. Brings back some memories. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the information guys! I guess they're sending these out slowly over a period of time. I ordered mine the Friday before they sold out so I probably should expect it later then most if it's a first come first served order. But I sent them an email just to be safe, there were some problems with my card that they helped work out.

Yeah, just give 'em a call or whatever. They are a small shop and inspect each and every box and item for defects before shipping so it may take a few days to get them all out but I doubt they carried too many so it won't be long!

I'm getting so psyched about HT BB I may have to watch BB on DVD again.

Thanks DR, that Adam West Batman was done by Alex Rojas, some may know him as elpapdavis on eBay, a talented customizer out of Mexico. Alex did 15 of them and may have a few available on his web site. The Robin was purchased as a set from Art of Toy (I sold the Batman on ebay) and bought him because it is the most accurate Burt Ward Robin costume ever made and has a smaller body, again Les Walker repainted the Robin head for me.

Here's another shot of Robin for anyone who may have missed it.

Trust ole PJAM to defend this Batman set to the death!
:D
With you all the way bro! West and Ward ruled. Too bad they have become fodder for jokes. Too bad.

Thanks for the plug on that Reeve Supes also P.

Hey, I too am glad I ordered the Hot Toys Batman over the Takara...however, I sure wish I had both! That Takara makes a great Bruce Wayne on the first night out version.
And yeah...is that Hot Toys Supes a tad shortish???

WHASSUPWIDAT? :google

Thanks Les, to the rescue! I can always cut and sand the West nips if I want to. I posted it for the sculpt, likeness and overall outfit.

Unfortunately some can't cut and sand their tongues!

1) I meant Gay Bar... 2) My wife thinks I sometimes act like I am ten... and 3) I didn't mean to imply anything about your collection other than the fact the I could see Batmans nipples...

I play nice... come on now. I own a mego Robin so don't think I was being cheeky or anything with you.

EDIT:

oh yeah... ps I am sorry. for the misspelled terribly homophobic remark. Now tell us what other BATMAN figures you have. :)

Got mine today! Haven't had time to unbox him though, I'll have to check him out tonight sometime.

Why can't Sideshow make a 1/6 Batman? I bet they could make an awesome Bale likeness.
