Neither do I. I'm gonna stick with MCU and DCU for now. Deadpool is my only Fox steel. Doubt I'll do it for X-Men.

Imports look nice, but my next set I'm going for are Studio Ghibli films and a few Disney onea.

I really like that Miyazaki set, but I already own just about every Miyazaki film, so there's no way I'm buying them all over again.

Glad to see some fellow Miyazaki fans. I already own most of them as well and don't see myself buying them all over again anytime soon. Great looking set though.

The first Iron man had a steel book and Target had an iron man 2 steel too.

Weren't those re-issues? It doesn't matter, I know that a lot of steel book collectors grab every steel book, but for me, "original" issues are more "legit" (a stupid argument, I know). I only pick up reissues if they are inexpensive and if I need to complete a series (a la Batman Begins and the Dark Knight for the Nolan Dark Knight trilogy).

I love Miyazaki. What set? :panic:

Seriously?! :gah:

Did some quick research and could find no evidence of a domestic Iron Man steel release (maybe it was an import?), and the Iron Man 2 "steel" was actually a Metal Pak that was available at Target. Steel book is a trademark, and is considered by collectors "superior" to Metal Paks and Iron Paks.

EDIT: I found some references to Target having an Iron Man exclusive where it's the Iron Man mask as a case, not specifically a steel book.

SECOND EDIT: Looks like punisher1974 was correct, it looks like FYE and Suncoast had an exclusive metal case for Iron Man.

IMG_1506.jpgIMG_1507.jpgI have the Iron Man 2 blu from target and it comes with a lenticular card. I have the suncoast steel on dvd. I never opened either of them since I bought regular releases. I really miss suncoast and now hastings is going away too. Sad because now I will have to use amazon for most of the movies I like.

I have the DVD on the original iron man. Don't know if they did a blu at the time since the format was new. Can't remember that far back

Looks like Jungle Book won't be getting a 3D release, at least not anytime soon.

It really makes no sense to me how the pick and choose which films get the 3D release and which ones don't. Marvel, yes. Star Wars, no. Zootopia, yes. Jungle Book, no. Are they just throwing darts at a board when deciding these releases?

I tried going on Disney's Facebook page to ask them but their page always plays havoc with my laptop. Too much stuff running on it all at once I guess.
