During the melting down of the spear Mando states that it should go to a foundling. The Armourer gifts Dar Jin with the amount of beskar fashioned from the spear tip only. ...at least that is what I want to believe...suspension of disbelief must be applied here. If one takes SW too seriously one can suffer with an aneurysm due to plot holes everywhere...

I haven't noticed anything that isn't scientifically accurate 100% in star wars.

Excuse me, I have to go watch my favorite clip of the bombs falling down in outer-space towards another ship.

What do you think the Armorer made for Grogu? A necklace charm... or a little lightsaber hilt?

A Light Beskar armor Chain-mail.

Implication being although we know Mando hands him over to his kind, the positive strong willed, hopeful Luke we all remembered, thus fulfilling his quest.
Disney's future Luke is a failed piece of garbage coward, who gets them all slaughtered.
Favreau (being someone who actually likes Star Wars) could not leave it that.

So this is Farvreau's way of circumventing that implied future, by letting us know ahead how Grogu is prepped to survive it. :wink1:

Didn't think we'd see Grogu again until S3 but based on Mando wanting to see him before he joins up with Boba, it's looking very likely we'll find out.
Not sure when it will happen.
Yet I'll add, hopefully Luke training Mando with the Darksaber.

If a Jedi Mando^ was the first to wield the Darksber
It should follow (Armorer aside) the best training for Mando, would come from another Jedi.
So he might take in a few lessons from a certain master, while he's dropping off Grogus gift.

And we might finally get to see the two iconic sabers clash (in training).

So much awesome potential. :google

Lemme get this straight - so only the tip of the spear is beskar?
No, why would you think so.
did the armorer melted the spear into such a tiny amount of beskar?
No, she just worked on what Mando asked for right there, for Grogu. The chain mail we saw,
The rest will clearly be used for foundlings and other Mando's armor.

A Mithril bib. :monkey3
:lol Pretty much.

.
what happened to the rest of it though. Im under the impression that the armorer is only in charge of forming / molding armor, not keeping and safeguarding coveted beskar.
Mando's first bounty that we see (ironically Grogu) is paid in Beskar ingots.
Mando has her take what she needs for his armor up. And the rest he given to her toward making armor for other foundlings and Mandos.
It's like the first thing we learn.
She's doing the same with the rest of the spear.

Which has done the most damage to Boba Fett's original image?
  • SW Holiday Special
  • ROTJ
  • AOTC
  • TCW
  • TBOBF
  • All of the above
  • Some of the above
  • None of the above
The Fett HS cartoon has no business being on that list. It was an awesome introduction to his character and not something that I've ever heard anyone having a problem with. Obviously The Book of Buffoonery has done the most catastrophic damage but the stage was set by Lucas himself back in 2002.

So us personal-canon people are going to have to sub-compartmentalize this episode out of this show and into The Mandalorian? Great, I can't wait for that headache :lol
You know what this series is like a reverse Holiday Special where most people extract just the Fett portion as being canon and then ignore all the non-Fett silliness but for this show we'll do just the opposite, lol.

Halo-rings exist in Star Wars..?
Was kinda hoping for a Master Chief Easter egg or cameo but mouse lawyers probably vetoed that.
Mandolorian Elder: Have u ever taken off your helmet Din Djain?
Mando: er, maybe, yeah, kinda…
Mandalorian Elder: *groan* ….and u John 117?
Master Chief: F$&k no!
Cortana: This is the way

There's a just out of frame planet with it's own gravitational pull that allows for both this and the big explosions to happen in what otherwise appears to be a vacuum in space. I'm here to help. :)
