For all we know something bad happened that Luke had to deal with

The only possible reason I could see for Luke being so lazy to not get in the X-Wing himself and chaperone the kid back to safety was if he was right in the middle of some kind of week-long tantric Force-*** with Ahsoka and he didn't want to break his concentration.

Mando thinks that Grogu is asking for the turbo switch, but Grogu is banging on the glass to say, "I can't breathe in here! This port was meant for droids." :lol
I thought Grogu was asking Mando to pull into the next rest stop so he could pee, but Mando’s one of those dads with a beskar bladder who says “Hold it - you just went 20 minutes ago. We’ll never get anywhere if we have to stop every half parsec.”

For years i couldnt understand the hate some of my friends had for Robert Rodriguez.
I didnt liked his "real" movies (everything but the kiddie movies) but i liked the spirirt.
Then i had kids and after watching few of his kiddie flick with them i realized how bad they were and any of these flicks are now forbidden in our home.
The he did ALITA and i was pleasantly surprised even if the whole futuristic colorful mexico tacos included made me cringe, then after talking with some friends in the loop i realized that all the cool things in the movie were all prepared way before by Cameron himself, all the action was ready for years, concept art, designs all was set and ready to use. Cameron did a marvel on Rodriguez, all was set and he was just to direct actors and not really direct the movie.
And here is Mandalorian and the book of Boba fett...
His episodes are the worst thing to happen to Star Wars.
The guy cannot film correctly to save his life.
Even Bryce Dallas Howard has more cinematic skills than this lazy hack.

I think when it comes to this show you either watch it as Seth Green from Austin Powers ("dude just blast the droids with your Naboo Starfighter, duh") or you watch it as Dr. Evil ("Can I just get a frikkin' Rancor with Boba Fett on its back? Is that really too much to ask?")

I'm definitely a Dr. Evil. :lol
This has resolved many of my internal conflicts! Thank you!

I could do with rewatching this series, back to back, see if it flows better, see if I enjoy it more. Problem is, I have zero desire to watch episode 1-4 again. I'll watch the Mando episodes again at some point and at least Boba does something in the final. It has some fun moments/dumb action and I can turn my brain off and watch the pew pew.
Episodes 1- 4 were just dull and full of Boba being an *****.
I might not hate BoBF like I did the ST, but it's found itself in the same "won't watch again" category.
Mando season 3 has a lot to live up to and to prove. It has to match the quality of the first 2 seasons and wash the horrible taste of BoBF from my mouth.

Of course she does - she's Ron Howard's daughter and probably spent her whole life observing & learning the business from the inside. This should surprise no one.

I am a big fan of Sin City (though that's just an attempt to replicate Frank Miller's work as a film), and of course, El Mariachi and Desperado are great for what they are. I also really dig From Dusk Til Dawn (though I have to wonder how much Tarantino's fingerprints are also on that one from the scripting and direction perspective).

But I don't think I've enjoyed anything else he has done, really. I thought Planet Terror was extremely disappointing given the genre and time in which it was made--Rodriguez should have been at the pinnacle of his career--particularly when you juxtapose that with the excellent Death Proof.

Not sure who is to blame for the huge mess that was the finale of this show, but if the Mandolorean show had more or less the same creative team apart from Rodriguez, and succeeds as it does, then that variable is hard to ignore.
