Well put it this way, in ten years when you tell your kids how you had to skip on the Tumbler from TDK, they'll say to you "what the hell is the dark knight"

Every release costs HT to lose sales on other items. So Tumbler is not an exception at all.
Every year they will make more money than the year before, even with the mass of releases coming this year; including the new 1/4 lines.
Hopefully the Tumbler stays available until at least July so most who want one can get it. This will be the last one HT does, aside from a possible Camo Bane Tumbler.

A big congratulations to everyone that's preordering the Tumbler !! I have no room for it but what I do have room for and have always wanted is the Bat Pod. My favorite moments in the Dark Knight film is him racing about on his cycle-flipping off of walls and such ! Can anyone confirm a re-releae of the Bat Pod ? I watched twice and saw no indication of it in the new trailer.

For all it's obvious manufacturing precision, the Tumbler is a pretty coarse object. It sits there like an angry animal ready to pounce. Batman is sleek and lithe. Unless you have a great display option in mind for the Tumbler, I'd go with the 1/4 scale figure.

Not just that what about the 1989 batmobile, TDKR bats, Returns bats, possibly the batwing maybe both from 1989 and Rises, the camo tumbler, etc, etc!!!

Hey guys one question, SSC charged $47 from my credit card, that is the non refundable charge. I am trying to flexpay the Tumbler, but now on my order status the SKU code has changed from 901731FLEX to 901731, is that normal? besides, on my little account event calendar on the Sideshowtoy website, I don't have any day marked as for a flexpay payment... is that normal?

You'll have to email them for a quote, but their shipping will be cheaper than anywhere else. I'd say around the 100-120 mark.

Just moved all my detolfs in a row and I think making a little wedge platform on top would hold the tumbler.
Just need to find the money now, all cards are tapped out. Anyone want to be a reference when I lie to a company saying I earn high ?.
Or hook me up with a financially stable woman (Ok looks) that needs someone that is awesome at everything house related. Cooking, cleaning heck I would even look after a kid if needed. I just want dibs on the toys.

dude the box is mega important. Just flat pack it & wedge it behind a wardrobe or something or under a bed. I never throw any of my boxes away. Ive got a wardrobe full to the brim with flat packed HT boxes lol & the rest in the attic.
I would literally throw everything out my living room to house the tumbler & use the box to sit on hahaha

True but my walk in closet is the same with boxes and if I don't have this cased in my son will have a very expensive tumbler to push around the house! Haha

i use to have the same problem with my 1/8 scale RC helicopters i ended up having them hanging from the ceiling damn i had a bad back & stiff neck for a long time with having to slightly croutch when i walked in the room haha, i dont think the tumbler will look to good suspended from the ceiling
to be honest i havent even thought where its gonna go it was the last thing that entered my head when i saw the announcement

Easy, use the box for display. Go to a fabric store get some black or whatever color silk and put it over the box. Then set your HT stuff on top!
