I know, I love the figure, but its way too much money to spend in Q2

I cancelled Spiderman 3/Peter Parker, I really wanted that figure but, it is schedule for Q2 too, so the Tumbler is first than anything to me..

I know what you mean, it may seem to some people, but I will not spend over a $1000 on toys in Q2 alone.

Why aren't they calling this tumbler from the dark knight rises, are they going to release a better tumbler when tdkr comes out .

It's coming out in June around the same time as the new batman movie, why not just link it to the new movie, and make some improvements.

Why aren't they calling this tumbler from the dark knight rises, are they going to release a better tumbler when tdkr comes out .

It's coming out in June around the same time as the new batman movie, why not just link it to the new movie, and make some improvements.

They probably didn't want to spend the money changing anything up. I'd also like to think they didn't want to p!$$ off people like me who supported them by buying it the first time. They knew everyone would lap it up whether they made improvements or not, so they didn't.

If HT ships this thing in the exact same manner as before then we'll know for certain they don't give a rats ass about their customers.

Do the fins come already attached hence all the previous breakages.

I'm not familiar with the first release...how did they ship it and what happen during shipping?

What was the problem with the previous Tumbler's shipping?

Some of them suffered chaffing on the roof by the packaging.

Paint rub roof (packaging problem)
Broken fin connectors, like all of them (packaging problem)
Glue spots in the cockpit or windshield (factory)
LED's broken, wires frayed or just burnt out (factory)

After taxes, shipping and everything I'll end paying more that $700, so I am already scare..

That's why i'm hoping they learned from their original packaging design.

However, my gut feeling is that being this is not a 2.0, packaging will be the same.

No, the fins come individually wrapped in plastic sleeves which are protected by bubble wrap and then inside small cardboard compartments which are held in place completely separately from the main vehicle by the styrofoam frame that holds it all.

Honestly, I didn't have any problem at all with the packaging of the fins. The material they made the bronze-colored connectors and antennas out of however was terrible. I'm not sure its even plastic. It's this really inflexible stuff, and you've got to be very VERY careful when assembling the fins or if you ever need to remove them (to store or move the Batmobile for example), because they WILL SNAP at the slightest provocation.

I wish they could have made at least these small parts out of metal, or a more durable plastic.

Even though I am against re-releases, I do hope that they fix the styrofoam rubbing problem for the people who will buy this.
For such an expensive item, it was inexcusable that most of the old releases had this problem.
