Anybody remember this line from Ra's in BB.

"The world is too small for a man like Bruce Wayne to simply disappear" :lol

Wasn't blown away by the film but thought it was a cool and fitting end to the trilogy . I think it felt bit bogged down with unnecessary characters (catwoman and Blake) Bane was disappointing as I suspected, a little dry and uninteresting, but I'm mostly happy about the fact that I felt like I connected again with Bruce Wayne. Bale was great. That being said I wish there were still more batman scenes and less Blake scenes. I hate to say it but it got a bit too nolanized. Every one of his go to actors had a part. Though Talias twist was expected I liked Marion for the role but wish she did a little more, I think it was a bit of a waste.

I will say though that even though I wish there was less John blake (I love Levitt by the way) I do understands that if there was less of him the passing of the mantel would feel a little more random and less deserving.

Really didn't like catwoman or feel she was needed in the story. Didn't really feel too much about Hathaway positive or negative though i still don't dig the outfit. I don't think having her hair all flowing is practical for a master thief.

But action was great plot was solid, performances by most of the cast was cool. I liked the breakdown of the story and how it was resolved, I thought it all very cool.

And I can't Help it... I don't want to be a fanboy but I can't hold this _____fest back... I like Levitt as the robin/nitewing/azeael role very much. But cringed at the end when it was revealed his first name was really robin. It made it seem like a cheap reaction seeker for the casual movie goer who of course ate it up. I would have been a happier fanboy if it was revealed his legal or birth name was ____ Grayson and there was some other more creative nod to the "robin" thing.

I know that's rather fanboy of me but I can't help it.

Ok last petty _____... God DaMN it Nolan you just HAD to go and taint this series with the biggest comic to film cliche of all time... The flaming symbol?? I just about puked on that one...

One of these days I want to see these super heroes setting that big moment up, carefully planting explosives I'n such a crafty way it will create their symbol when exploded. All these superheroes are such artsy crafty little buggers...

Thought it was good but not as sharp as TDK.

Hated the 8 year vacation. Something Batman would not do and seems to be there just so Bane could beat down a out of form Batman with ease.

Hathaway as Catwoman wasn't anything special. Thought Hardy as Bane was better.

Not enough Batman.

Loved the trilogy and think Begins is the best Batman movie of the bunch.

Bring on the reboot and JLA.

Wow you'd think I wrote the above post. Well said.

I don't like the John Robin Blake reveal either, but I don't think giving a nod to him as Greyson/Todd/Drake would've worked given the backstory Nolan gave to Blake. Fans wouldn't have liked that either. It's better that he's a new Robin altogether rather than a classic one, retooled for this trilogy.

I too agree with Evil very much.

Love that others like myself like Begins the most out of the three.

I know I sound like a broken record (can't help it I'm a big movie fan) but BB's is not only my favorite Batman movie but it's also one of my top 10 all-time favorite movies.

That is definitely true but rhe orphan thing was preserved so with a little more fleshing out they could have wiggled it in closer to one of the comic robins backstories.

Same here. I did the trilogy thing, and Begins FLEW by. So entertaining.

TDK made me want to walk around during the last 40 minutes. The ferry scene bugs me.

People give BB a lot of crap for having a bad third act, but I've always disagreed. It's solid and consistent all the way through.

I'm still trying to figure out whether I like TDK above TDKR, but I generally agree with sentiments that place BB above them both.

Tdk is still great but I thought batman was an afterthought in it but the villains made that film, there was no way bane and catwoman could touch joker and two face both who were portrayed so well.

It's not that either were horrible in this film but they just had horribly impossible standards to go up against.

The ONLY issue with Begins is the action. It's awful. But as much as I love action, the characters, and story kept me entertained through out.

However, the first Batman scene is the best Batman scene ever. Hyperbolic yes....but Batman is pretty scary. Which is great,

Good minds think alike. :)

At least nothing made me want buy figures. Well maybe Batman.
